The Iranian team defeated Bangladesh 52-20 in the competition’s semi-final.

Iran had defeated Thailand 90-16, Turkmenistan 90-46, Malaysia 70-29 and Chinese Taipei 53-31 in its previous matches.

The competition is being held on Kish Island, Iran from November 9 to 15.

The World Cup aims at providing a platform for young and talented players from the grassroots level to enhance their interest in representing their national side in future tournaments.

According To Iran News, The inaugural edition of the 1st Junior World Kabaddi Championship will take place from November 9 to 15 in Kish Island, Iran.

A total of 16 teams around the world will take part at the competition.

Iran, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Taipei, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Turkmenistan, Denmark, Kenya, Uganda, Canada, Australia as well as Iraq will take part in the competition.
