TEDPIX loses 13,000 points on Sunday

TEHRAN (Iran News) – TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), fell 13,414 points.

Over 1.364 billion securities worth 18.069 trillion rials (about $430.2 million) were traded at the TSE on Sunday.
The first market’s index dropped 11,030 points, and the second market’s index fell 22,938 points.
TEDPIX had risen eight percent in the last week of the past Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20).
The index increased 101,000 points to 1.307 million in that week.
After several weeks of decline, growth finally returned to the TSE, Iran’s major stock exchange, as TEDPIX rose 2.4 percent during the last week of February.

TEDPIX Hits 2.01mn Points

TEHRAN (Iran News) – The benchmark of the Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX pushed up 49,782 points surging the past key level to a historic level of 2.01 million points on Sunday.

The index registered a growth of 2.54 percent on this day.

The TSE’s equal-weighted index gained 8,759 to stand at 526,886 points to end in green on Sunday.

About 13.57 billion shares valued at 235.02 trillion rials (nearly $1.04 billion) were exchanged via 2.56 million deals at TSE for the day.

IFX, the main index of Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB), improved 535 points to 20,818 on the same day.

As reported, 2.67 billion shares worth 59.7 trillion rials ($265.5 million) were exchanged at the OTC market.

TSE Main Index Hits 1.9m Points

TEHRAN (Iran News) – TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), hit a new record high on Monday, as it exceeded 1.9 million points.

According to a report by IRNA, the TSE main index gained 46,814 points to 1.911 million during the Monday trades.

Mobarakeh Steel Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Company (TOPPICO), Gol Gohar Mining and Industrial Company, and Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company (POGDC) were the major contributors to the jump of TEDPIX in a single day.

The index had hit the record high of 1.5 million points on June 30.

While the past Iranian year (ending March 19) was full of success for the TSE, the market is also preserving its successful performance in the current year, and the notable point is that other economic sectors are experiencing a declining trend due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a press conference on June 22, the head of Iran’s Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) announced that the amount of liquidity absorbed by Iran’s capital market has reached 500 trillion rials (about $12 billion) during the first quarter of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20).

Hassan Qalibaf-Asl said, “This is while the total amount of liquidity entered into this market stood at 300 trillion rials (about $7.14 billion) during the past year.”

The official further noted that the high amount of liquidity that is entering the capital market has provided good opportunities for this market, as the enterprises are flourishing, and they’re securing their required funds.

TEDPIX grows 4,422 points on Satudary

As reported, above 3.8 billion shares worth 16.63 trillion rials (about $148.4 million) were traded in the stock market via 422,000 deals.

IFX, the main index of Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, also known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB), increased by 62 points, reaching 3,832 on the same day.

Some 949 million securities worth 7.83 trillion rials (about $69.9 million) were traded through 171,000 deals.

The supplied liquidity for stock firms participating in the stock market and the increase in forex rates which has led into increase of the revenues of exports companies active in the stock market besides the recession in other domestic markets including housing, gold and and forex market stand among the main reasons for the boom in the stock market.

TEDPIX drops 1,410 points on Monday

Some 2.8 billion shares worth 9.79 trillion rials (about $76.4 million) were traded through 279,000 deals at TSE on the day.

Also, IFX, the main index of Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market known also as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB), fell 8 points to stand at 3,185 points on Moday.

Some 1.8 billion shares worth 10.1 trillion rials (about $79.5 million) were traded in 208,000 deals at IFB.

TSE index slips down 5,000 points on Sunday

Some 3.481 billion shares worth 10.30 trillion rials (about $70.5 million) were traded through 253,000 deals at TSE on the day.

The first market’s index fell 4,127 points while the second market’s index dropped 8,338 points.
Also, IFX, the main index of Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market known also as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB), fell 95 points to stand at 2,494 points on Sunday.

Some 1.295 billion shares worth 5.83 trillion rials (about $35.5 million) were traded at IFB.

TSE’s worth of trades rises 73% in a month

The value of trades in Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) has risen 73 percent during the past Iranian calendar month of Mehr (September 22-October 22) from its previous month, Tasnim news agency reported on Tuesday.

Some 64.928 billion shares worth 310.327 trillion rials (about $7.388 billion) were traded through 5.250 million deals during the past month.

Number of deals in Mehr shows 43 percent rise as well.

TEDPIX, the main index of TSE, also gained 27,241 points, or 17 percent, during the past month.
