TEHRAN (Iran News) The Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, has suggested that the Iranian player could run out of time to find his feet at the Nerazzurri.

Taremi joined Inter in July with major expectations on his shoulders.

The Nerazzurri signed the 32-year-old on a free transfer from Porto. But he had been a long-term target for the team well before them.

The hope was that Taremi would really beef up Inter’s attacking option, giving them a striker who is more than just a backup for Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram. However, that has not really been the case so far.

In Serie A, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi clearly does not view Taremi as a starter.

However, the Nerazzurri coach has given the Iranian international plenty of chances in Europe.

Taremi has started all six matches of Inter’s Champions League to date this season. But the Iranian’s performances have been a real mixed bag.

Taremi did well in a thankless job leading the line against Manchester City and Arsenal. However, he failed to score a goal.

Two assists and a goal from the penalty spot marked a performance against Red Star Belgrade that many hoped would be the turning point for Taremi at Inter.

However, in subsequent matches the 32-year-old has yet to score a goal.

There are still long months ahead in which Taremi will undoubtedly have opportunities to prove his worth.

But that will require a really turnaround in form from the Iranian. And if that does not come by the end of the season, Taremi could find his time is up at Inter.

TEHRAN (Iran News) Inter defeated Red Star 4-0 Tuesday night and the Iranian striker was on target from the penalty spot.

Taremi was ‘so glad’ to get his first competitive Inter goal and said their aim must be to at least reach the Champions League Final this season.

“I am glad to score tonight, to play good, thanks to my teammates. It was great,” Taremi told Sky Sport Italia.

It was his first competitive goal for the Nerazzurri and he was deservedly named Man of the Match by UEFA.

“I am so excited, it took a while for me to score, but I always tried to do my best in training, I fought for this moment and managed to get the goal tonight.”

“Our goal as a big club is to reach the Final, as Inter must try to win every game. We will take it step by step,” Taremi concluded.

The club announced the news on its official website. The note revealed that RMI tests detected a muscle strain in the left thigh.

The statement added that the player will undergo more tests next week, but didn’t offer any estimations over his expected return date.

But according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Taremi risks missing a couple of weeks of action.

Nevertheless, the media reports suggest that the striker will miss Serie A season opener against Genoa.

The Italian champion will kick off their defense campaign on August 17 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.

The 32-year-old signed for Inter last month as a free agent after seeing out his contract with Porto.

The fact that the other senior strikers from last season have not been part of the training thus far means that the Iranian player has had the chance to work one-on-one with Inzaghi.

The Italian coach has been apparently very impressed by what he has seen from Taremi during the past week.

The Gazzetta reported that there are echoes of former Lazio and Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose in what Taremi has demonstrated in preseason.

Inzaghi had worked with Klose right at the tail end of the German forward’s career at the Biancocelesti in 2016.

Similarly, the Gazzetta reported, there are echoes of Edin Dzeko’s game in Taremi. The Bosnian had spent two seasons as a key player for Inter under Inzaghi.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –The Iranian has already reached an agreement to join the Nerazzurri as a free agent several months ago.

The Portuguese club could do little to stop the 31-year-old from joining this time around.

Taremi saw out his contract with the Iberians, so he’s now free to sign for the Beneamata on a Bosman deal.

The Iran international will join Inter’s attacking department which includes Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Marko Arnautovic.

Lisbon’s defender, St. Juste, played a crucial role in the game. Initially, he scored from a corner kick, putting his team ahead in the 20th minute.

Porto’s Evanilson capitalized on a defensive error and equalized the score five minutes later.

St. Juste was shown a red card in the 29th minute.

After the break, Porto dominated possession, but Sporting always had a response, leading to no winner being determined in regular time.

Bruno Lourenço was on target for the visiting team on the hour mark and Jose Pedro equalized the match in the 81st minute.

Taremi scored the winner in the dying moments of the match.

Taremi joined Porto in 2020 and scored 64 goals in 121 matches for the team.

He has reached an agreement with Italian side Inter Milan.
