TEHRAN (Iran News) – Where There Is a Will, There Is a Way. The Islamic Republic of Iran since its birth in 1979 has proved this point to the world that if there is a will there is a way for materializing your wishes and it has reinforced the slogan of “We Can Do It.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran has progressed in the military sector in recent years and it has minimized its reliance on the foreign weapons by manufacturing new arms and weapons or indigenizing the foreign-made weapons. The reason is clear. The country is threatened by enemies under different guises and from any corner so it forces the country to reinforce its military and arms stockpile against possible attacks from enemies.

Iran’s Navy in recent years has shown signs of this progress by manufacturing sophisticated and modern warships and frigates and also shown muscles in the international waters to sound warning to the enemies that they should not underestimate Iran’s navy power in defending its waters and country.

In a bold move which irritated the West, Iran’s navy ships joined a parade in Russia. This cooperation would lead to deepening of ties with Russia and also be a response to the likely threats from the aliens against the country.

Reacting to joining the parade in Russia, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, Iran’s Navy commander, says participation of the Iranian naval fleet in Russia’s parade is a sign of deepening relations between the two countries.

Khanzadi made the remarks on Monday in a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, in Moscow.

“The participation of Iranian navy ships in Russia’s Navy Day parade in Saint Petersburg is a sign of further expansion of cooperation between Tehran and Moscow,” Khanzadi said.

“When military cooperation is promoted to this level, it plays a role because it determines the global situation,” he added.

Khanzadi said the Iranian Navy ships, which included Sahand destroyer and Makran port ship, did not call even in a single port along their way in international waters, and headed straight for Russia.

Yevmenov, for his part, said the crew of the Iranian ships showed they fully enjoyed combat readiness and could operate anywhere in the oceans at any moment.

The Russian commander invited the Iranian Navy to attend various ceremonies in his country.

Khanzadi had earlier hailed as “a historic event” the presence of Iranian Navy destroyer Sahand and accompanying support vessel Makran in the parade in the Gulf of Finland and St. Petersburg waters.

Khanzadi also described the sailing of Iranian ships to the Gulf of Finland as “a historic event.”

“In this long voyage, these ships entered the world’s strategic areas, which is unprecedented,” he said.

“This success means the opening of the gates of the North Sea and Finland to the fleet of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army.”

The massive Russian naval parade on Sunday was held on the occasion of the 325th anniversary of the founding of the Russian navy on the Nova River, which flows through the city of St. Petersburg.

Iran’s Navy and Army in recent years have tried to cut their dependence on the foreign arms and have mostly focused on domestically manufacturing the required arms and warships which boosts the morale of the country and save the flight of the forex towards foreign states.

Iranians especially after the advent of the Islamic Revolution have proved that whenever they have relied on themselves, they have been successful and they have proved the world that they can materialize any wish they have as the Supreme Leader has repeatedly said, Iran “can do it” if it trusts its own domestic potentials.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has materialized this slogan in the military sector and in some industrial fields and it needs now to expand this slogan in other fields which can boost the morale of the nation for standing against the ill-wishes of the enemies who are ready to take advantage of any weakness in the country and fan the flame of rift between the public and the establishment.

It is expected by taking office of the president-elect Hojjatoleslam Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the country would taste more achievements, and a bright future will be ahead of the country by boosting production and cutting reliance on the aliens who just think of their own profit through making the country dependent on them.

So the countdown has begun for a new era in the country and everybody is waiting for Raisi to take office to stir the country towards more success and prosperity.

According To Iran News, Courthouses in Moscow and St. Petersburg were evacuated over bomb threats once again, the court press services said.

Five courts in Moscow and at least six in St. Petersburg were cleared out Tuesday.

Earlier, in a similar bomb threat email, the perpetrator demanded a cryptocurrency ransom, saying St. Petersburg’s bridges were booby-trapped with explosives. The culprit threatened that the evacuations would take place twice a day now.

“The Gagarinsky, Chertanovsky, Zelenogradsky, Scherbinsky and Ostankinsky district courts have been evacuated,” the Moscow City Court’s press service said, TASS reported.

“The Petrodvortsovy, Oktyabrsky, Primorsky, Leninsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Kuybyshevsky district courts are being evacuated,” the St. Petersburg united court press service added.

The bomb scare wave erupted in November 2019 with anonymous perpetrators emailing bomb threats to courts, schools, shopping malls and colleges. All threats were checked by bomb squads, but not a single one was deemed to be genuine.

Khademalsharieh snatched the second place, winning the $25,000 prize, in a heated rivalry among 204 female chess grandmasters.

Chinese chess grandmaster Ju Wenjun won the first prize in women’s tournament, with maybe some scary moments in the very last round. She finished a full point ahead of Khademalsharieh and the Russian grandmaster Aleksandra Goryachkina, who stood at the third place.

Three other Iranian chess players, namely Parham Maghsoodloo, Alireza Firouzja, Ehsan Ghaem Maghami represented the Islamic Republic in men’s section, where the worlds strongest chess players vied for titles.

Firouzja ranked sixth at the end of the competition, where Daniil Dubov from Russia won the first place.

Iranian players have shown an outstanding presence in international competitions during the past years.

Earlier in June, junior Iranian male chess player Bardiya Daneshvar put on commendable performances at the second edition of FIDE World Cadets Rapid and Blitz Championships in Belarus, snatching the gold medal in the blitz division of the competitions.

According to the latest FIDE ratings, in the ranking of countries, Iran has moved one place up compared to last month with 2555 points, sitting in the 25th place.

The ranking is measured by the average rating of the country’s top 10 players. Maghsoodloo stands at the world’s 4th place with 2,688 points in the juniors’ standard category. The teen player, Firouzja (2607) stands in 12th spot in the same category. With 2470 points, Khademalsharieh gained the rank of 19th in the standard women’s section in the December ratings of FIDE.
