Written by Mehdi Akbari, “Flying with Burned Wings” is being directed by Mohammad Sotudeh at the Qashqai Hall of the City Theater Complex.

The story of the play is set in the Khajeh Khezr district. Gang members are threatening security in the neighborhood, but everything changes after Qassem arrives.

Starring Mehdi Tavakkoli, Taravat Tabibi, Hedyeh Fadai, Elaheh Tabrizi, and Fatemeh Hozuri, the play was staged at the 27th edition of the Tehran Theater Festival.

“Abbas’s Offering”, which focuses on an episode from General Soleimani’s life, is being performed by director and writer Mohammad Yazdi’s troupe at the Sayeh Hall of the complex.

Yazdi also plays a role in the play starring Amir Qorbani, Hooman Hosseini and Abolfazl Shiri.

The story of the play revolves around Abbas, a young thug with traces of scars left on his body from street fights. However, one major turning point comes when he is getting a tattoo on his back.

Dozens of cultural events are commemorating General Soleimani on the third anniversary of his assassination. The Quds Force chief was assassinated in a U.S. airstrike in Baghdad on January 3, 2020.

A highlight of the program is the 4th edition of the Divine Commander Theater Festival, which will commence on January 4, 2023, at his grave in the Shohada Cemetery of Kerman, his hometown.

The Association of the Revolution and Sacred Defense Theater and the Revayat Foundation launched the festival in 2020 to present General Soleimani’s character, morale, and his method of management to provide a role model for the younger generations.

The Owj Arts and Media Organization is organizing a theatrical performance entitled “Jan-Fada” (The Dedicated”) at Tehran’s Velayat Park in memory of General Soleimani.

The performance, which focuses on the life story of General Soleimani, will run until January 15.

In addition, a documentary recalling episodes from General Soleimani’s childhood years hit the silver screens across Iran on Monday.

Directed by Sasan Fallahfar, “A Trace of a Man” was produced at the School of Hajji Qassem Foundation, and the theaters are offering free tickets for all to commemorate the third anniversary of his assassination.

Iranians along with the people worldwide are preparing to mark the martyrdom anniversary of this brave man who lost his life in fighting with terrorists and world hegemony, and for this reason his name will be remembered as the “Hero of Hearts” and anti-terrorist fighter.

Soleimani, the chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, was assassinated on January 3, 2020, in a U.S. air raid outside Baghdad International Airport under the direct order of then-U.S. president Donald Trump.

Nobody can deny his efforts and braveries in containing the atrocities of terrorist Daesh group and even the Westerners and Americans have confessed to the braveries of Marty Soleimani and they believe Soleimani was the man who stopped the Daesh group which has been the product of the U.S. to confront the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Resistance Front.

An academic has described Iran’s top anti-terror commander, Soleimani, as the “architect of resistance” and a “unifying figure” in life and death.

Pro-Palestine professor, David Miller, sacked by Bristol University over his criticism of Israel and Zionism, made the comments about General Soleimani in a TV program.

Miller mentioned the “practical effect” of Soleimani’s legacy on enabling the Axis of Resistance as well as Palestinian factions to collaborate with each other.

“All the Palestinian factions got together and still remain unified, even though the Israelis tried to split them apart; I think that the resistance is unified much stronger than it has been for many years and that is directly because of Soleimani’s activity,” he said, adding that, “he was a unifying figure in life and death.”

Miller also said that Soleimani was the “architect of resistance” and brought together the forces in the Axis of Resistance, a transnational organization, willing to fight US imperialism and target and fight Zionism.

He also lauded the anti-terror commander for his endeavors in bringing the resistance together despite the Shia-Sunni divide.

“He worked seamlessly across the sectarian divide, and the support from [the Palestinian resistance movement] Hamas, predominantly a Sunni organization, is unparalleled for any other particular leader in the Iranian government,” he said.

“Soleimani is somebody who, during his life, accomplished military feats, for which the whole world should be grateful,” Miller added.

Meanwhile Aamar Kazmi, an anti-imperialist political activist, also told Press TV that General Soleimani was certainly seen as a “steadfast ally of the Palestinian resistance.”

“Many Palestinians, particularly those in Gaza, admire Soleimani, display portraits of him and even in the West Bank, and there are murals of him on the apartheid wall, so he is very well respected in Palestine and lots of tributes were paid to him upon his martyrdom,” he said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Kazmi said Soleimani was the architect of the defeat of Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in Iraq and Syria.

“Qassem Soleimani’s role was quite unique; over the years, he was on the ground, literally all over the place in Iraq and Syria, building connections, planning and strategizing, providing inspiration and morale. Sometimes it is possible to attribute too much to a single individual but I do not think this is one of those cases,” he concluded.

During his lifetime, General Soleimani played a significant and direct role all across the region.

In 2006, Soleimani sent military support to Hezbollah to help eject the Zionist invasion of southern Lebanon.

In Syria, Soleimani assumed personal control of the Iranian intervention. He reportedly coordinated the war from a base in Damascus with Syrian officers, Hezbollah, and Iraqi Shia militia forces.

These are not the only ones who have hailed Martyr Soleimani as a real hero in fighting for the global peace, and many people in the world have such a feeling as some dare to express their feeling and some fear they may face backlash because the Westerners and especially their media outlets have tried to paint a negative picture of this Hero of Hearts and they even cannot tolerate a simple comment on the social media and shut down the account of anybody who puts a post or a story in his account.

But the West and enemies of the Islamic Revolution and the Resistance Front should know that Iranians and freedom-lovers in the world will never forget this brave hero and his memory will be remembered for ever and his path will be followed as well, and the West and its media and servants in other states will be unable to ruin the personality of this great Personality of the World and his bravery and endeavors for uprooting the threat of Daesh will never be forgotten.

Martyr Soleimani has been and is the only brave military man in the contemporary history who won the hearts with fighting for the safety and security of nations rather than for winning and occupying the land and for this reason world has to give a standing ovation for this man who sacrificed his life fearlessly for others.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in accordance with the “Act on Countering Violations of Human Rights and Adventurist and Terrorist Actions of the United States of America in the Region”, particularly, Articles 4 and 5, and in addition to the American individuals including Donald Trump, Michael Pompeo, John Bolton, Mark Esper, Gina Haspel, Christopher Miller and Steven Mnuchin and also Matthew Tueller, Steven Fagin and Rob Waller who were listed respectively on 19 January 2021 and 23 October 2020, identifies and imposes sanctions as set forth in the abovementioned Act on the following persons for the role they played in the terrorist act of the United States against Martyr General Qassem Soleimani and his companions, in glorification of terrorism and in violating the fundamental human rights. The said persons, as the case may be, have taken part in decision-making, organizing, financing, and carrying out the terrorist act or have otherwise justified terrorism which is a threat to international peace and security through supporting such egregious terrorist attacks.

It is reiterated that the United States by conducting the callous terrorist act has flagrantly breached its international legal obligations in countering terrorism and terrorism-financing, in particular, the obligation to refrain and desist from organizing and participating in terrorist acts and the obligation to respect, protect and fulfil human rights which constitute internationally wrongful acts entailing the international responsibility of the United States. As such, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in conformity and compliance with its human rights obligations and also duties in combating terrorism and countering terrorism financing, in particular, the state terrorism perpetrated by the United States and to ensure the international peace and security, imposes the sanctions as stipulated in the Act on the said persons on a reciprocal basis.

The Islamic Republic of Iran underlines that the heinous terrorist act will not in any manner diminish the resolute determination and resolve of the Islamic Republic of Iran in following the path of the revered General Soleimani in fighting terrorism and terrorist groups, in particular, the US-backed terrorist groups.

In the light of the above and taking into account the provisions of the “Act on Countering Violations of Human Rights and Adventurist and Terrorist Actions of the United States of America in the Region”, all relevant national authorities will take appropriate measures for effective implementation of the sanctions set forth in the Act.

Martyr Soleimani was a true hero and it was natural that his martyrdom anniversary is held in style by his lovers worldwide and especially in Iran and Iraq which owe their current peace to the braveries of Martyr Soleimani and his comrades.

General Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and his Iraqi trenchmate Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), were martyred along with their companions in a U.S. drone strike authorized by former president Donald Trump near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.

In recent days several ceremonies and rallies were held in Iraq and Iran and in all of them participants have called for taking revenge on the culprits of this inhuman assassination.

Zeinab Soleimani, the daughter of top Iranian anti-terror commander General Soleimani was one of the participants in the ceremonies where she renewed her pledge to avenge her father’s assassination.

“My father loved the Iraqi people from the bottom of his heart… He would ponder a lot about a strong Iraq,” Zeinab said during a vigil at the Baghdad airport on Sunday night, on the eve of the second martyrdom anniversary of two anti-terror commanders.

Tonight, she said, “We vow to move closer, hand in hand and step by step, to the horizon of exacting ‘harsh revenge’ on enemies whose hands are stained with their blood.”

Zeinab also stressed that “the tears of sorrow … would soon turn into joyous tears of victory when dear Iraq and all the countries in the region are purged of the filth of the presence of American invaders.”

Addressing the Americans, Zeinab made clear that “we will not forget this blood.”

At the same time, Iran’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations urged the UN Security Council to hold the United States and the Israeli regime responsible for the assassination of Iran’s top anti-terror commander General Soleimani.

“Given the dire implications of this terrorist act on international peace and security, the Security Council must live up to its Charter-based responsibilities and hold the United States and the Israeli regime to account for planning, supporting, and committing the terrorist act,” Majid Takht-Ravanchi wrote in a letter addressed to the rotating president of the UN Security Council Mona Juul.

Of course one cannot expect the UN to issue any resolution or condemnation on assassination of the top general because it follows what the world arrogance wishes, and legal actions over assassination of General Soleimani seem to be in vain and it needs a true response from Iranians and Iraqis to the culprits of this crime and as time passes by, people in these two countries and even in other countries are getting more determined to have a proper response to this state terrorism which led to missing one of the greatest hero of all times and hero of hearts.

The West and especially the U.S. should know this point that Martyr Soleimani will continue to inspire people to resist injustice and oppression long after his cowardly U.S.-ordered assassination and his path will be followed by those who fight for freedom and restoring peace in the region.

General Soleimani’s martyrdom has galvanized not only the Iranian nation, but also the forces of resistance to Zionism and imperialism throughout the region and beyond and his killers were apparently too arrogantly stupid to realize that they were creating a martyr who would create even more problems for them dead than alive.

The real revenge for this cowardly and dastardly crime will be the complete expulsion of the Anglo-Zionist empire from the region, which may very precipitate its final downfall and in due time the killers will also be punished.

Although legal actions seem to be in vain, Iranian and Iraqi officials continue, and should continue, their efforts in a way to convince the global arrogance that they cannot evade the punishment and the era of hit-and-run has passed and in case they hit, they should wait for proper response in due time, although it may be late but it will be inevitable.

Speaking at the International Conference on Iran and Neighbors on Tuesday, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said the current century will witness the Muslim world as a new pole of power with a cultural, civilizational, economic, and demographic nature that would put up great resistance against Western and Eastern powers.

The geopolitics of resistance means “changing the social, cultural (religious), economic, and military structures and processes of the Islamic Ummah (community) so as to gain freedom and independence and form the Islamic world’s power in competition with the dominating powers of the West and East at various national, regional, and global levels,” Rahim Safavi said.

“The flag-bearer of this new geopolitics is the Islamic Revolution forces, the Islamic Awakening movements and the Resistance Front led by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the late founder of the Islamic Republic [Imam Khomeini],” he added.

Rahim Safavi also noted that following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the resistance focused on the issue of Palestine and the Zionist regime’s aggression and occupation, followed by the struggle against corrupt and oppressive governments in Islamic countries.

He also stressed Iran’s role in presenting and institutionalizing the concept of resistance after the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s imposed war against Iran in the 1980s.

The commander further cited Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement, Palestinian resistance groups, Iraq, and Syria as members of a new resistance bloc, saying, “With the birth of the Ansarullah movement in Yemen, this bloc or axis is having another official member today.”

Rahim Safavi, a former chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), hailed the IRGC Quds Force as “the engine and operating agent of the resistance.”

“In fact, what has made the United States angry with the Islamic Republic is the process of generating power in Iran’s regional politics. This power has been created in the first layer in West Asia with the wise and courageous leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the role of the Quds Force in the battlefield under the command of the martyred general, Qassem Soleimani,” he said.

“In parallel with the advent of the new arrangement or order led by the Islamic Republic in West Asia, based on the shared goal of countering American hegemony, Latin American countries, including Venezuela, Cuba, and Peru, have also strengthened their ties with the resistance front,” he added.

General Soleimani, Iran’s world-renown anti-terror commander, was assassinated alongside Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), in a US drone strike directly ordered by former president Donald Trump near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.

Both commanders were highly popular because of the key role they played in eliminating the Daesh terrorist group in the region, particularly in Iraq and Syria.

President Raisi made the comments at a massive gathering at Tehran Grand Mussalah held to commemorate the martyrdom of former IRGC Quds Force commander Lt. General Soleimani on Monday afternoon.

The president said that the top Iranian commander General Soleimani was a school of thought that was in continuation of the school of late Imam Khomeini and current Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

“His school will not die out with assassination and missiles because a school will remain forever,” Raisi underscored.

Soleimani was not a man of compromise but was a man of resistance, the president noted, adding that Martyr Soleimani should not be seen only as a top military commander.

Raisi went on to say that Gen. Soleimani had the expertise in winning hearts and left behind a culture of resistance.

He said that the former IRGC Quds Force commander could conquer hearts better than lands.

Iranian President said that the Ex-president of the United States and also former Secretary of State must stand trial for the crime of assassinating General Soleimani.

He addressed the Americans, saying that General Soleimani was officially invited by the Iraqi prime minister before he was assassinated.

He added that the Americans violated Iraq’s sovereignty.

“You [the Americans] not only violated Iraq’s sovereignty, but you also assassinated a nation, not just an individual,” Raisi said.

“The aggressor, murderer, and the key criminal, namely the former U.S. president must be tried for the heinous crime of assassinating Gen. Soleimani,” President Raisi said.

The president went on to address the American statesmen that if the perpetrators behind the heinous crime do not stand trial, the Islamic Ummah will avenge his martyrdom.

Forouzan stated that existing capacities in the labor, cooperatives and social welfare ministry include petrochemical industry, steel, social services, agro and foodstuff sectors, pharmaceutical, concrete, transportation, cellulose industry and tourism which can be good grounds for increasing forex revenues of the country and boosting economic boom in the country.

He also pointed to the national and international achievements of Martyr Genera Qasem Soleimani in the field of international economy relations and sated that activation of transit route to Syria, Mediterranean Sea and Africa, reinforcing big market of exports of goods and engineering, social and technical services, economic union of Iran, Iraq and Syria, revival of the Silk Road in the West Asia, forming headquarters for promoting economic relations in the region and revival of economy-centered diplomacy have been of major achievements of Martyr Soleimani  for sublime of the position of Islamic-Iran economy.

Forouzan then reminded that removal of executive hurdles, support of exporters’ rights in the target countries and supervising it in the international bodies, using modern methods of active marketing with cooperation of economic enterprises of the ministry as well as attracting foreign investment for participation in the technology and innovation projects and easing provision of effective capital goods in the production are all on the agenda of the ministry.
