Angry ethnic Ethiopian Jewish protesters clashed with Israeli regime’s police on Tuesday over an off-duty officer’s killing of a young man of Ethiopian origin in a town near Haifa on Sunday, as the incident drew fresh accusations of racism. His killing sparked outrage among members of the Ethiopian community.

Crowds of Ethiopian battled police and blocked highways on at least 20 junctions. This incident led to heavy traffic in different areas, with 10 wounded and 16 detained.

Ethiopian Jews or “Falash” in occupied territories are a large minority with a population of 135,000. These people deceived by the promise of the Zionists have immigrated to the occupied territories and now are faced with the most serious discrimination by the political groups ruling the occupied territories.

The important point in this regard is the direct coordination of the Zionist security service with the owners of Social Networks on the cyberspace.

The Social Networks such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp have been abruptly interrupted during the Ethiopian Jewish protests occupied territories so that transferring messages and news through them was very difficult and in some cases impossible.

The goal was to prevent the publication of accurate reports from Ethiopian Jewish demonstrations and, subsequently, to prevent disclosure of the reality of the Zionist regime and its authorities.

Another important goal of the Zionist regime was to prevent other Falash Jews to join the demonstrations and further spreading of them in order to suppress the protesters.

However, the main goal of Israeli security officials and individuals such as Facebook’s Jewish CEO Marc Zuckerberg has been to prevent Zionist regime to be distorted among other Jews living in other parts of the world.

Releasing news and images of the massive Ethiopian demonstrations can hurt Tel Aviv while Zionists continue to encourage Jews in other parts of the world to immigrate to the occupied territories.

Undoubtedly, this event once again reveals the nature and identity of social networks’ administrators in the world and their real lack of belief in supporting the free flow of information and news in cyberspace.

Google struggling social network Google+ will be shut down sooner than previously announced after a new security vulnerability that briefly exposed personal data of some 52.5 million Google+ users.

The bug, which was introduced to Google+ in November, allowed developers to access personal profile information including name, birthday, gender, nickname and more even if those users had limited access to that information.

“We discovered this bug as part of our standard and ongoing testing procedures and fixed it within a week of it being introduced,” wrote Google vice president David Thacker in a blog post, Extremetech reported. “No third party compromised our systems, and we have no evidence that the app developers that inadvertently had this access for six days were aware of it or misused it in any way.”

The disclosure comes two months after Google revealed another security vulnerability affecting the social network. Back in October, the company disclosed that it had discovered and patched a bug that allowed application developers to access personal data earlier this year.

At the time, Google said that Google+ had seen “low usage and engagement,” with over 90 percent of all usage sessions lasting 5 seconds or less. This led to the decision to shutter the network, with Google first saying that it would turn off access in August of next year.

Google’s disclosures are a bit different from the issues that Facebook was facing earlier this year. Companies regularly find security flaws in their products, and there are currently no reports that anyone actually used the bugs in Google+ to steal any personal data.

Facebook on the other hand had purposefully designed its product in a way that allowed app developers to access a vast amount of data. The Trump campaign-linked data consultancy Cambridge Analytica made use of those design decisions to siphon data off the platform, which was possibly used to aid political campaigns.

Still, the latest disclosure will likely put a bigger spotlight on Google’s privacy practices. It is also poised to come up when Google CEO Sundar Pichai testifies before Congress on Tuesday.

The legacy messaging app will shut down for consumers after next year, according to sources familiar with Google’s roadmap. No specific timeframe was mentioned.

This shouldn’t really come as a surprise — in March 2017, Google announced Hangouts would split into two enterprise-focused apps: Hangouts Meet and Hangouts Chat. Ever since that announcement, the company began winding down support for the consumer version of Hangouts.

It removed SMS support from the app in May 2017, urging users to instead use Android Messages. Hangouts also hasn’t received any notable updates for a while, and many die hard users have been reporting bugs as of late, Android Authority reported.

Google isn’t giving up on consumer-facing chat apps though (let’s face it, it never will). Following the underwhelming push to make Google Allo catch on, the company announced its continued efforts to bring RCS features to as many carriers and smartphones as it can. The RCS standard is designed to improve messaging functionality that’s installed on smartphones by default. Down the line when RCS is widely adopted, you’ll be able to see read receipts, chat with multiple people without it being a horrible experience, and send media messages up to 10MB from your standard texting app.

If you’ve yet to wean yourself off Hangouts, now may be the time to do so.

People who are on the sanctions list of the US, UK, European Union or United Nations, including Iran, will not be allowed to take part in Telegram Open Network initial coin offerings (ICOs) and will be forbidden from buying Gram cryptocurrency by the official Telegram group investor agreement, Russian news agency RBC reports.

The ban on participating in the ICO extends to close relatives of sanctioned people, including their spouses, children and siblings.

In addition, the ban extends to all people living in sanctioned territories. The document points out that such territories are now the following: the Crimean Peninsula, Cuba, Iran, the Democratic People’s’ Republic of Korea and Syria.

The existence of the group investor agreement has been confirmed by at least two people: an unnamed Russian businessman as well as one of the venture’s fund top managers, both of whom are considering taking part in the project, reports PolitNavigator.net.

In early January, TechCrunch reported Telegram’s plans to launch its own blockchain: the Telegram Open Network (TON) platform and Gram, its homegrown cryptocurrency.

As Sputnik reported earlier, the company is seeking to raise $1.2 billion to build a virtual economy within the Telegram app and create its own blockchain-based payment platform that will offer participating businesses full access to its large audience via an advertising exchange and virtual storefronts where customers will pay in Grams.
