]]> TEHRAN (Iran News) – The Secretary-General of the Islamic Dawa Party Nouri al-Maliki arrived in Tehran to exchange views with Iranian officials on issues of mutual interest.

Maliki, the former Iraqi prime minister, arrived in the Iranian capital late on Sunday, the Iranian Labor News Agency (ILNA) reported on Monday.

He is also the chairman of the Iraqi Rule of Law Coalition, is slated to sit down for talks with Iran’s high-ranking officials during his stay in Tehran.

Nuri al-Maliki was Prime Minister of Iraq during 2006-2014.
