Mahmoud Mashhoon stepped down from his role as basketball federation president after 14 years on Friday.

Parichehreh will be introduced as the federation’s acting president on Wednesday.

He has already worked as acting president in Iran Chess Federation.

The new president for basketball federation will be elected in the general assembly within six months.
