TEHRAN (Iran News) The new academic year of Iranian universities officially began on Monday morning with the presence of President Masoud Pezeshkian at Tarbiat Modares University.

Science, Research, and Technology Minister Hossein Simaee-Sarraf and Minister of Health and Medical Education Mohammadreza Zafarghandi accompanied the president at the ceremony.

Pezeshkian is scheduled to deliver a speech to students later today, marking the formal start of the university year across the country.
