Sajjadi has been appointed as the chef de mission to Team Iran by the National Olympic Committee’s newly-elected President Reza Salehi Amiri.

Sajjadi is an Iranian sports administrator who served as vice and acting minister of sports. He was acting Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports from Oct. 19 until Nov. 1, 2016.

He was also a member of financial committee of Olympic Council of Asia and deputy Head of Physical Education Organization.

The 18th edition of the Asian Games will be held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in Indonesia.
