TEHRAN (Iran News) A senior spy working for the Israeli regime’s Mossad spy agency has been executed after being convicted of espionage and supporting terrorist operations in Iran.

According to the Judiciary’s media center, the individual, identified as Mohsen Langar-Neshin, was hanged on Wednesday morning following a full legal process, including trial, appeal, and final confirmation of the verdict by Iran’s Supreme Court.

He was charged with “moharebeh” (waging war against God) and “corruption on earth” due to his espionage activities for the Israeli regime, which included the assassination of IRGC Colonel Hassan Sayyad Khodaei in Tehran.

According to the Judiciary, Langar-Neshin began working with Mossad in late 2020 and carried out his first mission three months later, after receiving advanced espionage and operational training.

Over two years, he provided broad logistical and technical support for Mossad-linked terror operations inside Iran, including during the assassination of Sayyad Khodaei in Tehran.

Langar-Neshin was also involved in logistical planning for an attack on a Defense Ministry-affiliated industrial center in Isfahan, securing communications tools for Mossad agents, purchasing and modifying vehicles for operational purposes, transferring funds from Israeli officers to agents inside Iran, and renting safe houses across multiple provinces.

The Judiciary said his involvement was confirmed through a range of intelligence and technical evidence, including the use of a secure communication platform known as “Red Windows.” The convict reportedly confessed in detail during both preliminary investigations and in court.

Langar-Neshin also met with senior Mossad officers in Georgia and Nepal and received direct assignments.

Despite being highly trained in espionage and covert operations, he was ultimately tracked and arrested by the Intelligence Ministry’s operatives, who also dismantled his support network.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence announced on Sunday that it had dismantled a spy cell run by Israel’s Mossad that was planning to carry out acts of sabotage in the country’s defense industry through security marketing.

The Iranian intelligence forces uncovered a plot by a Mossad espionage network to gather information from Iranian knowledge-based companies that cooperate with Iran’s defense industries, Tasnim reported.

The Israeli regime’s Mossad spy agency hired data broker Frank Genin, who introduced himself as the chief of a spare parts manufacturer company and was able to contact several Iranian companies and employees, according to Tasnim.

The Mossad agent then invited his coworkers to a seminar in Malaysia, where he introduced them to another Mossad agent, Hadrien Lavaux.

As a cover-up, Lavaux has been the managing director of Triple A Industries, an Aerospace advanced alloys and composites company that was established in Singapore in 2017. Since then, the company started communicating with Iranian companies that provide carbon fibers, resin, and other metal alloys.

It is worth mentioning that Triple A Industries’ website says that Frank Genin is the chairman of the company, which explains the close cooperation between Genin and Lavaux.

Lavaux’s associates in Iran attended different exhibitions, monitored scientific conferences, and identified the latest needs of Iran’s defense industries.

They later began to identify the chiefs, salespersons and important employees in companies that are active in the field of defense industries. These employees were invited to multiple front conferences abroad, including in Turkey, Hungary, Oman and Georgia, and their trips were fully covered, Press TV reported.

However, Iran’s intelligence forces had kept a close eye on these trips and were able to track down the network.

Earlier, four thugs who had been found guilty of having connections to Israel’s Mossad spy agency were put to death early, the Iranian judiciary announced.

The executions were carried out earlier this month.

The four convicted individuals were named as Hossein Ordukhanzadeh, Shahin Imani Mahmoudabad, Milad Ashrafi Atbatan, and Manouchehr Shahbandi Bejandi in the judiciary’s announcement.

The four men were detained by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps in June (IRGC). They were eventually given the death penalty by a court for both kidnapping and intelligence collaboration with the Zionist regime.

According to an earlier IRGC statement, the squad had received training from Mossad personnel on how to utilize combat weapons for kidnapping operations while being reimbursed with bitcoins.

The capture of the members of the gang who worked with Mossad was revealed by the IRGC public relations department in June.

The group used to kidnap individuals, steal and destroy private and public property, and force their victims to make false confessions.

They were instructed by a Mossad officer in Sweden, the Mizan news agency said.

The gang members abducted victims and collected bitcoin as ransom. They have admitted that they worked with foreign intelligence services and were paid to undermine Iran’s security. The gang network was connected to the Israeli spy service by Hossein Ordukhanzadeh, who had been in jail in Greece from 2014-017 for trafficking humans from Turkey to Greece.

Heavy cargo of weapons and ammunition were seized from the Mossad agents, the ministry official added.

The Mossad agents intended to use the equipment to carry out assassinations after causing urban riots.

The intelligence official said the weapons included pistols, grenades, Winchester, assault rifles, and ammunition, some of which, like Winchester and grenades, were used to quell protests.

The terrorists were arrested by closely monitoring their activities outside the borders and conducting extensive operational intelligence.

“During the (June) elections, the Zionist regime intended to carry out acts of sabotage in different parts of the country on several occasions. By taking timely action,… soldiers of the ministry prevented terrorist acts and dealt a heavy blow to the Mossad terrorist network,” the counterintelligence director stated.

He added, “The Ministry of Intelligence while thanking the constant vigilance of the people, especially compatriots living in the western provinces of the country in the face of the enemies of Islamic Iran, asks all people to be aware of suspicious offers, especially in cyberspace and requests for some measures to receive money out of the blue and act with more vigilance and awareness and inform the press office of the Ministry of Intelligence at 113.

Also on Monday, Hojatoleslam Seyyed Kazem Mousavi, director of the Justice Department in Fars province, said members of the nucleus of a terrorist team have been identified and arrested in the province in an operation launched by the Intelligence Ministry and police.

Mousavi said 11 active members of the terrorist group were arrested in Fars and 25 others in six eastern and western provinces in a coordinated operation.

To show its existence and create panic among the public, the terrorist group had released video clips in the virtual space, he explained.

The local official added a large amount of ammunition and weapons have been confiscated from the members.

According to Tasnim, Mousavi also said the group’s ringleaders have been identified in foreign countries.

The group had plans to carry out simultaneous terrorist attacks in several provinces with the intelligence and financial support provided by the intelligence services of a European and a regional country, the local official stated without giving further details.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – In an effort to cover up Israel’s intelligence failures in Iran, the new Mossad chief vowed to quash Iran’s nuclear program regardless of the international community’s engagement with Iran, a position already been taken by the former spymaster of Israel but failed to make any progress in putting a halt to Iran’s nuclear activities.

New Mossad chief David Barnea said Israel is isolated on the issue of the nuclear talks between Iran and major world powers that are underway in the Austrian capital of Vienna but nevertheless it will continue to confront Iran’s nuclear work. Speaking at a ceremony marking his entry into office as head of the intelligence agency, Barnea said, “The agreement with world powers that is taking shape only reinforces the sense of isolation in which we find ourselves on this issue.”

He added, “I say it clearly — no, we do not intend to act according to the majority opinion since this majority will not bear the consequences for the erroneous assessment of this threat.”

The new Mossad director threatened that Iran’s nuclear program will continue to feel Mossad’s might, accusing Iran of pursuing nuclear weapons.

The remarks came a day after Barnea’s boss issued threats against Iran at a handoff event during which outgoing Mossad Director Yossi Cohen handed over control of Israel’s intelligence agency to Barnea. The lame-duck Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel must “do everything, but everything” to confront Iran’s nuclear program. Netanyahu once again repeated his outworn claim that Iran is pursuing an unpeaceful nuclear program, describing this program as the “greatest threat” against Israel. He even went so far as to say that he would eliminate this threat if he was to choose between friction with the U.S. and eliminating the threat, a claim that drew a backlash from Netanyahu’s rival Benny Gantz, who tries to snuggle up to the Biden administration.

Earlier on Monday, Cohen alleged that Israel deeply infiltrated Iran. “We penetrated into the heart of hearts of the enemy Iran,” the former spymaster boasted.

The remarks by the Israeli officials came at a time when Israel is facing a historic failure in terms of putting a halt to Iran’s nuclear program, which continues to make significant progress despite Israel’s continued campaign of sabotage against Iran.

The Israelis can boast about their alleged success against Iran and say whatever they want, but no amount of bragging would change the reality on the ground, which attests to the progress Iran has made in the nuclear sphere.

Regardless of the Israeli hype, Israel, in theory, has two options to completely stop Iran’s peaceful nuclear program: covert intelligence sabotage and overt military strike.

Israel has never sought to use the second option despite the vociferous fuss Netanyahu has made about attacking Iran over the past years because it knows full well that such an attack would inflict an irreversible cost on Israel. The Israelis know better than anyone else that Iran is not Iraq or Syria, which turned a blind eye on Israeli aggression when their nuclear facilities were pounded by Israel.

As regards the second option, Israel actively sought sabotage against the Iranian nuclear program. And despite some minor damages they caused to some Iranian nuclear facilities they utterly failed to bring the whole program to a halt. On the contrary, after every act of sabotage, Iran stepped up its nuclear activities, indicating that Israeli sabotage would only ratchet up these activities.

So, the intelligence option did not yield the outcome the Israelis were seeking. Instead, it only prompted Iranian authorities to beef up the security of nuclear plants. At the end of the day, with every act of sabotage, a window of infiltration is closed.

Israel also suffered a resounding defeat at the diplomatic level, with Iran and the West resuming nuclear talks in Vienna after four years of Israeli-backed American pressure on Iran.

The death sentence was carried out against Seyed Mahmoud Mousavi Majd at dawn on Monday, according to local reports.

In June, Iran’s judiciary announced that Mousavi Majd had worked as a spy for the CIA and Mossad and given them intelligence on the whereabouts and movements of Iranian top commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by the US in Iraq in early January.

It added that the case of the informant had nothing to do with the American assassination of General Soleimani as he had been arrested four months before the top general’s martyrdom.

Lt. General Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who was the deputy head of Iraq’s Hashd al-Sha’abi (PMU), and a number of their entourage were killed in a strike by American drones near Baghdad International Airport on January 3.

The White House and the Pentagon claimed responsibility for the assassination of General Soleimani in Iraq, saying the attack was carried out at the direction of US President Donald Trump.

In the early hours of January 8, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) targeted the US airbase of Ain al-Assad in retaliation for the US move.

Earlier this month, a retired employee of Iran’s Defense Ministry was hanged for providing the US with information on Iranian missiles.

The spy, named Reza Askari, was put to death for spying for the CIA.

After retirement from the Defense Ministry’s Aerospace Department in 2012, the executed convict was connected with the CIA, sold information on the production of Iranian missiles, and received the money in exchange.

“I suspect the CIA and maybe Israel’s Mossad are behind al-Bashir’s removal – even though his forces are aiding the Saudis in Yemen,” Chicago-based Stephen Lendman told Tasnim in an interview.

Stephen Lendman is a writer, syndicated columnist, activist, News TV personality, and radio show host. He currently writes for MoneyNewsNow.com and VeteransToday.com and hosts, since 2007, a progressive radio show at The Progressive Radio News Hour on The Progressive Radio Network.

The following is the full text of the interview:

Tasnim: Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir was recently removed by a military coup after months of anti-government protests against his three-decade rule. A military council led by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan is now in power and says it will oversee a transitional period that will last a maximum of two years. What do you think about the latest developments in the African country? How do you predict the future of the developments? Would the military council hand over the power to a democratic government?

Lendman: Many post-WW II coups had dirty US hands on them. I suspect the CIA and maybe Israel’s Mossad are behind al-Bashir’s removal – even though his forces are aiding the Saudis in Yemen.

By its very nature, military rule is repressive. Just societies want a clear separation between military and political authorities, the former serving the latter.

Al-Bashier has been in power for about 30 years. The US wants him tried in the International Criminal Court because he hasn’t surrendered Sudanese sovereignty to Washington. The Trump regime wants a subservient puppet replacing him.

What’s going on in Sudan should be for the Sudanese to decide, not a hostile foreign country like the US, meddling in the affairs of most other nations.

The coup virtually assures democratic governance will not come to power when the Sudanese military relinquishes it – likely to retain it for an extended period.

Tasnim: According to media reports, there have been some meddlesome measures by Saudi Arabia and the UAE in Sudan. However, Sudanese protesters have declared their strong opposition to the two countries. What do you think about the future of relations between Sudan and the two Arab countries and do you think that the next Sudanese government would be an ally of the two?

Lendman: I heard something about the Saudis and UAE meddling in Sudan. What’s going on in virtually all conflict theaters was orchestrated in Washington, likely together with the UK, other NATO countries, Israel and other regional ones like the Saudis and UAE in the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa.

The Sudanese want foreign hands off their country. The US wants the country transformed into a vassal state, it aims the same for all other nations – notably Russia, China, Venezuela and Iran, along with control over their oil and other resources.

Most Arab countries go along with the US agenda. Because of its sovereign independence, Syria is targeted for regime change, Yemen was targeted because the US wants a puppet regime in charge of it controls, not the independent Houthis.

Tasnim: As you know, Sudan is part of Saudi Arabia’s disastrous military campaign against Yemen. Given that a huge number of the Saudi-led coalition forces fighting in Yemen are Sundanese, what do you think about the effect of developments in Sudan on the protracted war on Yemen?

Lendman: What’s going on in Sudan will have no effect on the US war in Yemen, begun by the Bush/Cheney regime in October 2001 – shortly after its naked aggression on Afghanistan.

The key issue is this. The US under Republicans and undemocratic Dems want dominion over planet earth, its resources and populations – by whatever it takes to achieve its objectives.

Naked aggression, color revolutions, and old-fashioned coups like what’s being attempted in Venezuela are its favored strategies.

US rage for dominance is humanity’s greatest threat. I greatly fear the unthinkable nuclear war against Russia and/or China eventually. Together they’re the last powerful frontier against Washington’s hegemonic aims. If things turn out this way, we’re all doomed.
