Military threat against Iran no longer works: Maj. Gen. Jafari

“During the first stage of the Revolution, we were facing military threats but at the beginning of the Revolution’s second stage, these threats no longer work since the enemy know that it will fall into disgrace if adopts a wrong measure,” Chief of IRGC Baghiatallah cultural and social base, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, said on Saturday.

He went on to say that downing of the intruding US Global Hawk drone proved the grandeur of Islamic Revolution defense achievements, noting, “the enemy sees this and doesn’t say a word so as not to lose the game.”

Back in June, a US spy drone intruded into Iranian airspace, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps brought it down after the drone ignored Iran’s several warnings, using home-made air defense systems. IRGC says there was another intruding US manned plane beside the Global Hawk but the force ‘refrained’ from targeting it; this was later confirmed by Presiden Trump as he ‘appreciated’ Iran for not shooting the manned plane.

In comments made a few hours after the incident, IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami said the shooting down of the US aircraft had a straightforward message that any foreign intrusion into Iran’s sovereign territories would draw a crushing response. “Borders are our red line, and any enemy violating these borders will not go back,” the commander underlined.

Making the remarks at the farewell ceremony of the ex-IRGC Commander Mohammad-Ali Jafari and his own welcoming, Gen. Salami hailed the ex-commander’s services during the past years underling that having him in office, IRGC experienced a golden time span.

“The Quds Force, led by a brave commander, could advance to east of the Mediterranean and the Red Sea to end the US’ domination,” he said.

“In the second step of our revolution, we should convert Islam’s sovereignty into a civilization and IRGC should become ready to play its role to reach this goal,” he said, “We must expand our influence sphere from the region to the world to leave no secure region for the enemy across the globe.”

In a decree on April 21, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Armed Forces Ayatollah Khamenei appointed Hossein Salami as the new Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC and promoted him to the rank of major general. During the ceremony, the Leader expressed hope that Major-General Salami will succeed in his new post by employing creativity as well as high morale and spirit.

Hossein Salami named IRGC chief

According to the official website of Iranian Leader ‘Khamenei.ir’, in his decree, Ayatollah Khamenei has expressed gratitude to the former Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari for his invaluable services at the top of IRGC and appointed former IRGC Deputy Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami in his place.

Major General Jafari has been appointed as the new head of the Baghiatollah Base Cultural Department.

In his decree, the supreme commander of all armed forces enhanced the military rank of Hossein Salami a level higher to major general compared to the previous brigadier general.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution pointed to necessity of changing roles within the IRGC structure as the basis for his decision.

Ayatollah Khamenei called on the new IRGC chief commander to enhance the spiritual capabilities of the IRGC forces and use Major General Jafari’s experiences, especially in cultural affairs to boost the general expertise of the Revolutionary Guards.

‘Zulfaqar Order’ result of Gen. Soleimani’s efforts to guard Iran’s security

Jafari extended congratulations to IRGC Quds Force’s Commander for receiving Iran’s highest military order, called Zulfaqar Order, from the Islamic Revolution Leader.

IRGC’s first-in-command went on to say that this award is the result of Soleimani and IRGC’s ‘great, strategic, and decisive’ efforts in supporting the Resistance Front, fighting American-Zionist terrorism, and ensuring the security of Iran.

This order is an honor for the family of IRGC and will be a source of inspiration for future missions of the force, he added.

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has awarded Major General Ghasem Soleimani with the Order of Zulfaqar. This is the first time that the order is being offered after the Islamic Revolution.

The top general leads IRGC’s Quds Force and is considered one of the most influential military commanders in the world. In the recent issue of US-based Foreign Policy magazine, the name of the Iranian commander can be seen on top of the table of its ranking for Global Thinkers in the defense and security field.

Soleimani has played a significant role, as a strategist and adviser, in the fight against terrorism both in Syria and Iraq.

IRGC chief to Netanyahu: ‘Don’t play with lion’s tail’

Highlighting that Iranian military advisers and weapons will remain in Syria, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander Major General Jafari warned Israeli regime’s prime minister of playing with the lion’s tail.

“Fear the day when Iranian precision missiles hit you and take revenge of all the blood of oppressed Muslims which you have shed,” Mohammad Ali Jafari asaid on Wednesday.

The remarks came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that his country will continue conducting airstrikes in Syria targeting what is claimed to be Iranian units. He also urged Iran to “get out of there fast”.

Describing Netanyahu’s threat as ‘ridiculous’, Jafari stressed that “the Islamic Republic of Iran will keep in Syria all the military and revolutionary advisers, and equipment and weapons which aim to train and empower Islamic Resistance forces and support oppressed people of the country.”

“Be sure that we do not take into account your ridiculous threats. You know that if we have chosen to wait against your hostile measures, some considerations lies behind it.”

Referring to Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Bahram Ghasemi who has said that Iran does not have any military force in Syria, IRGC chief noted Ghasemi’s remarks means that Iran does not have a military unit in Syria.

Israeli regime is well aware of Iranian military forces power and hence fears the presence of even one Iranian in Syria, he added.

Never Threaten Iran, IRGC Chief Warns Trump

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari warned US President Donald Trump not to threaten Iran, highlighting a litany of US defeats in confrontation with the Islamic Republic.

“Mr. Trump! Do not ever threaten Iran,” Major General Jafari said in a gathering of demonstrators marking the anniversary of US embassy takeover in Tehran on Sunday.

Pointing to US soldiers’ “whimper of fear” in their encounter with Iran and the high number of American veterans who commit suicide because of depression, the IRGC chief said the US power is on the wane.

The enemy’s last option, namely economic war on Iran, has been defeated and the US tool of sanctions has become useless, the commander stated.

He also stressed that the Islamic Revolution would have not lasted for 40 years if the US embassy in Tehran, known as the den of espionage, had not been taken over by students back in 1979.

On November 4, 1979, and in less than a year after the victory of the Islamic Revolution that toppled a US-backed monarchy, Iranian university students who called themselves “students following the line of (the late) Imam (Khomeini)” seized the US embassy in Tehran, which had become a center of espionage and planning to overthrow the newly established Islamic system in Iran.

The students who seized the embassy later published documents proving that the compound was indeed engaged in plans and measures to overthrow the Islamic Republic.

Every year on the 13th day of the Iranian month of Aban (which this year falls on November 4), the Iranian nation, particularly students, hold rallies across the country to mark the day.

Iran able to defend West Asia under 12 minutes

Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Ali Jafari said on Friday that the Islamic Republic enjoys the military power to defend West Asia in less than 12 minutes.

Responding to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent anti-Iran remarks, Jafari told Yemeni TV channel Almasirah that Donald Trump was wrong when he said Iran’s power has decreased since he took office.

“If in the past we could defend the Middle East, not to impose our hegemony on the whole region, in 12 minutes, today the time is even lower than that,” he asserted.

Basij Commander: Al Saud, Zionists Proxies of US in War on Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of Iran’s Basij Force Brigadier General Gholam Hossein Gheibparvar denounced the Zionist regime of Israel and the Al Saudi regime as two stooges of the US in carrying out hostile plots against Iran.
Addressing a cultural event on Tuesday, General Gheibparvar said the Islamic Republic is fighting a full-fledged war against the global arrogance, as the US president is overtly expressing hostility towards Iran.

Slamming Saudi Arabia and Israel as two hands of the US in the region, the commander said the “evil Al Saud and the fake regime occupying al-Quds are aiding and abetting the war on the Islamic Revolution of Iran via heavy spending and intelligence measures.”

His comments came a day after Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari decried the Israeli regime for backing anti-Iranian groups for the purpose of upsetting the Islamic Republic’s security.

Last month, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei deplored the “evil” policy of the global arrogance to create insecurity and instability in the Middle East, praising Iran’s resistance against such a policy.

The Leader stated that Iran’s powerful resistance has thwarted the US goals in the region, adding “The world political and intelligent analysts are astonished and acknowledge the fact that Iran, by relying on God and counting on national power, has defeated the world powers in the region.”

Regional communities deeply indebted to Islamic Revolution

Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) hailed the influence of the Islamic Revolution of 1979 on the Middle East.

“The regional communities are deeply indebted to the Islamic Revolution and to its achievements in the holy defense and in the war against arrogant superpowers,” said Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), on Saturday. “Everybody has witnessed the victories of the Islamic Republic of Iran after the years of the imposed war,” he added referring to the 1980-88 war of between Iran and the Baathist regime of Saddam.

Addressing a Quranic event of Basij forces, the commander hailed the efforts of the Basij in areas of defense, security, and political, cultural, and economic warfare.

“The propaganda machine of the enemy is broadly attacking the Revolution to undermine its achievements but what the Revolution has accomplished in areas of foreign policy and measures in the region are undeniably great,” reiterated the official.

“Who could believe that Saddam would be toppled by Americans themselves and then a new establishment emerge in Iraq with Shias in power,” he underlined.

“We are witnessing divine help in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. The falling of Zionist fighter plane in Syria was one of these divine helps unprecedented in the history of the region,” the Iranian General highlighted.

IRGC’s cmdr pronounces recent anti-Iran plot defeated

The Commander-in-Chief of IRGC, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, announced that the recent days’ riots were part of the most recent plot against Iran and he asserted the plot was definitely foiled.

“This is a divine vow that each difficulty and sedition is followed by an easement,” said the Chief-Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, on Wednesday.

The Iranian commander mad ethe remarks touching upon the recent week riots in some cities of Iran.

“The enemies perfectly know that by no means can they threaten the Islamic Republic of Iran in terms of defense. So they have mustered all their capital, after the sacred defense, to pose cultural, economic, and security threats against the Islamic Iran, and with God’s help they are assuredly to be defeated in these fields, too,” ascertained the top commander of IRGC.

“In addition to the 5000 forces trained, as announced by Ms. Clinton, to create riot, anarchy, insecurity, and intrigue in Iran, a huge number of anti-revolutionary agents, pro-monarchists, and MKO members, were tasked with creating and developing riot and anarchy in Iran,” he noted.

“Today, I can pronounce, that the intrigue of 96 is over and defeated,” asserted the Iranian General.
