TEHRAN (Iran News) General Jahanshahi made the remarks at a ceremony to honor and introduce the new commander of the Army’s Northeastern Regional Headquarters in Mashhad, on Tuesday.

Referring to the anti-Iran conspiracies, he said the enemies tried to disintegrate Iran and even collapse the Islamic establishment with tools such as cultural invasion, human rights excuses, the nuclear file and sanctions, and finally with the 12-day imposed war.

Their ultimate goal in the recent war was to overthrow or collapse the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was never achieved with the vigilance and resistance of the Iranian nation.”

“Enemies had been planning to destroy missile power and weaken Iran’s armed forces for more than 20 years,” the top commander said, adding that hey failed to achieve their “sinister goals” due to the “vigilance and resistance” of the Iranian nation.

He continued by saying that the unparalleled role of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and his decisive command was another determining factor in imposing a humiliating defeat on Israel despite the support of the United States and NATO to the regime.

Yemeni missile attack hits Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport

TEHRAN (Iran News) Spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces Yahya Saree has announced a new military operation against Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport in response to the regime’s war on Gaza.

Saree made the announcement on Sunday, saying that Ben Gurion, which is Israel’s busiest airport located near Tel Aviv, was struck with a hypersonic ballistic missile earlier in the day.

According to the spokesperson, the missile operation was fully successful, halted flights at the airport, and sent residents of Tel Aviv to shelters.

As long as the Israeli regime continues its attacks on Gaza and maintains its siege there, Yemen will continue its military operation against the regime’s positions, Saree said, emphasizing that the Yemeni Armed Forces are prepared for any developments in the coming days.

Yemen has in the past several months repeatedly struck Ben Gurion Airport with missiles, as part of its retaliatory response to Israel’s aggression against Palestinians in Gaza. The response has also featured maritime operations in the Red Sea against Israel-linked vessels. Yemen has continued its operations in support of Gaza despite intense airstrikes by Israel and the United States against the Arab country.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has unveiled its home-made hypersonic missile Fattah.

The modern missile was unveiled in a ceremony in Tehran in the presence of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Tuesday morning.

The missile is the latest achievement of IRGC Aerospace Force (IRGCASF).

IRGCASF’s Commander Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh had said in late May that Iran’s new hypersonic missile will mark the launch of a new generation of missiles in Iran.

Due to having great tactical capabilities, Fattah can fly at very high speeds and perform various maneuvers in and out of earth’s atmosphere.

Fattah has a range of 1,400 kilometers and hits the target at a speed of Mach 13 to 15.

Only a handful of countries, including the US, China, Russia and North Korea have mastered the technology to manufacture hypersonic missiles.

With a solid fuel propulsion system and a second-stage mobile nozzle, the missile has the ability to reach very high speeds and perform various maneuvers in and out of the Earth’s atmosphere in order to overcome different types of air defense systems.

The speed of the missile can reach Mach 13-15 before hitting the target.

Speaking in a ceremony, Brigadier General Hajizadeh said that by unveiling the ‘Fattah’ hypersonic ballistic missile today, Iran now became one of the four countries in the world that have this technology.

Fattah missile cannot be destroyed by any missile due to its movement in different directions and heights, he added.

Hajizadeh says Iran is now among only four countries that have the technology to produce hypersonic missiles.

“The missile that was unveiled today is unique in the world … With this unveiling, Iran became one of the four countries that have this technology,” he said.

Hajizadeh further explained that the missile has a movable nozzle that allows the missile to be guided in all directions. When this is done, he said, the missile can move to the left and right, up and down, and rotate above the Earth’s atmosphere.

Stating that the speed of the Fattah missile is Mach 13, the commander said that a missile with such speed will be impossible to be confronted.

Hajizadeh also said that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei supported and approved the missile activities, noting that Ayatollah Khamenei had himself named Fattah after he was presented with a report on its development.

Speaking on the sidelines of the ceremony, Major General Hossein Salami cited that the Fattah hypersonic missile is capable of changing its direction in space.

Stressing that Iran is witnessing major progress and big leaps in the field of technology, Salami went on to say that while such advanced technologies are unknown to most countries, young Iranian scientists are now able to use them and contribute to the country’s defense industry.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – The Islamic Republic of Iran with every achievement enrages its enemies and especially the West and its allies, and after any achievement, the country faces flood of accusations coming from the West while all of those claims and bullies against Tehran are baseless and in vain

On Thursday, Tehran announced another amazing military achievement which made enemies unhappy as it is reported that the Western countries have decided to push the IAEA to adopt a resolution against Tehran or even refer Iran’s nuclear program dossier to the United Nations Security Council.

On Thursday a high-ranking commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said the country has developed a homegrown hypersonic ballistic missile which is capable of penetrating sophisticated aerial defense shields and striking designated targets.

“The missile has a high velocity and can maneuver both in and out of the Earth’s atmosphere,” Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Division, told reporters.

“The new missile can pass through all missile defense systems, and I don’t think that the technology capable of countering it will be achieved in the decades to come. It can target the enemy’s anti-missile systems, and its production marks a huge leap in the development of a new generation of missiles,” Hajizadeh pointed out.

On Sunday, Iran’s Defense Ministry unveiled the upgraded version of the domestically-designed and manufactured Bavar-373 (Belief-373) surface-to-air missile system, and inaugurated the production line of the long-range Sayad B4 missile.

“Bavar-373 system was initially capable of destroying targets at 200 kilometers and now the upgraded system, aiming to attack targets at very long ranges, [including] ballistic missiles, fighter aircraft, and bombers can destroy targets at 300 kilometers,” Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani during the unveiling ceremony.

The missile system can engage up to six targets at a time and destroy them, he said, stressing that many technologically advanced countries aspire to possess such a system.

These successive achievements have angered the West as they have decided to retaliate in different way as they want to take serious action against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

First reacting to the new of Iran’s achievement in producing supersonic missile, the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) claimed that Iran’s announcement of building a hypersonic ballistic missile intensifies concerns about the country’s nuclear program.

Rafael Grossi in an interview with AFP on Thursday claimed that Iran’s announcement of building a hypersonic ballistic missile intensifies concerns about the country’s nuclear program.

Later Reuters in a report claimed that the United States, Britain, France and Germany want the UN nuclear watchdog’s board to pass a resolution calling it “essential and urgent” for Iran to explain uranium traces found at three undeclared sites.

The draft resolution was sent to other countries on the 35-nation International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors on Friday ahead of a quarterly meeting that starts on Wednesday. It also comes the day after the IAEA issued a report, also seen by Reuters, on the years-long investigation into the traces.

“(The Board of Governors) decides it is essential and urgent … that Iran act to fulfil its legal obligations and … take the following actions without delay,” said the text, dated Friday and listing actions such as providing credible explanations for the traces.

Other actions listed included “provide all information, documentation, and answers the Agency requires” and “provide access to locations and material the Agency requires, as well as for the taking of samples as deemed appropriate by the Agency.”

The report shows that new achievements of Tehran has enraged the West and now they have once again resorted to the pretext of nuclear program violation as their recent efforts of accusing Iran of violating human rights seems to have lost its steam.

In recent years, Iran’s achievements one after the other has pushed the enemies to resort to different baseless claims against Tehran in order to bring Tehran down to its knees but all plots and efforts have been thwarted by the mighty Islamic Revolution and definitely the new pretext of issuing resolution against Tehran by the IAEA will not either work.

As the chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said on Friday, the enemy is “scared” and “on alert” as it is sending regular messages to Iran, pleading not to be targeted by a military response.

“Now it is a number of days that enemies do not have peace and are on alert. They are scared and are regularly sending us messages that ‘do not target us’,” he said, noting that these messages have been delivered to Iran via several countries.

The enemy tries to engage Iran with internal conflict so as to deviate it from lofty horizons, added the commander, pointing to Western-led violent riots that erupted after the death of young Iranian woman Mahsa Amini.

“The enemy always shatters itself by its own mistakes. This time also, we will defeat them using their mistake,” he said, adding, “The Iranian nation is changing the enemy’s calculations.”

The commander is totally right because Iranians have acted in a way to show the enemies’ their miscalculation and once again brave Iranian nation will show the West they are wrong and their plot of bringing down the Islamic establishment down to its knees is in vain and they are better to mind their own business and let Iran resolve its domestic differences by itself because Iranians have historically shown that they do not let aliens interfere in their domestic affairs and the Islamic Republic will march ahead strongly with more achievements like supersonic missile which will be considered nothing regarding its other future achievements.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iranian Army unveils homemade turbojet engine, new radar . The Iranian Army Ground Force has unveiled seven domestically-developed high-tech military achievements, including air defense systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electronic warfare devices.

The achievements developed by Iranian experts at the Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad Organization of the Army Ground Force were put on display on Sunday during a ceremony in the presence of Deputy Chief of Army for Coordination Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari and Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari.

The ceremony rolled out a radar warning system capable of detecting and jamming airborne interception radars used in drones, helicopters and fighter jets, in addition to an alarm system for detection of laser-guided weaponry and airborne threats, which can be employed against the enemy’s short-range air defense systems and has the ability to send alerts to UAV ground control stations.

The Ground Force also showcased Ranesh-1 (Propulsion-1) micro turbojet engine, which can be used in various drones, single-seat light aircraft, a wide array of missile systems, and unmanned boats.

The turbojet engine is light enough to generate high speed thrust, runs on different types of fuel, has a high service ceiling compared to piston engines, can carry payloads, and can considerably boost the flight endurance record in a variety of drones.

The other home-grown products included self-protection and drone-mounted TIAM 1400 system for detection of the enemy’s radars and air surveillance.

The system uses different frequency bands to decipher various types of air surveillance radar signals, and intelligently transmits the received signal to the jammer in order to disrupt it.

The ceremony also featured a flight system that is based on artificial intelligence and incorporates drones and a land-based Taha 1400 radar jamming system that can be carried by drones.

Taha 1400 system uses directional antennas to intelligently cover a wide area of operation, and maintains the flight safety of various drones in the enemy’s locale.

The system is smart and light, a low-voltage consumer and can be installed quickly and easily.

Finally, a land-based jamming system used for countering hostile drones and remote-controlled systems was among the new military achievements unveiled on Sunday.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – The Israeli military says a Syrian missile fired towards an Israeli warplane has overflown its target, landing near the occupying regime’s top-secret military nuclear facility Dimona.

An Israeli military spokesman cited by Reuters said the projectile had come down in the early hours of Thursday in the Dimona area in the Negev desert inside the occupying territories, where the regime operates the hugely controversial installation.

The spokesman identified the missile as “an SA-5” — a long-range projectile handled by Syria’s Russian S-200 missile systems.

The missile, however, “did not hit the reactor, landing some 30 kilometers (19 miles) away,” the agency cited the spokesman as saying.

According to the Israeli military, missile sirens went off in the area, and a Reuters correspondent, who was about 90 kilometers (56 miles) north of Dimona, reported hearing the sound of an explosion minutes before the military tweeted that the alarms had gone off.

Israeli and Western media outlets soon began to speculate about Iran’s possible involvement in the incident.

The Times of Israel noted how the missile incident came shortly after Iran warned that it will retaliate for an Israeli act of sabotage against its Natanz nuclear facility. Earlier this month, the incident cut the power across the facility but did not lead to any casualties and damages or any complications.

Soon after the Israeli operation, Iran began enriching uranium up to 60-percent in purity, with President Hassan Rouhani calling it a first retaliatory step. Iran’s Ambassador to international organizations Kazem Gharibabadi also warned that the occupying regime “will finally – and soon – realize that they must never threaten Iranians.”

According to Israeli media outlets, the regime has been reinforcing missile systems around the Dimona facility and the Red Sea port Eilat in the occupying territories in anticipation of a possible long-range missile or drone attack.

The Associated Press reported from the occupied holy city of Jerusalem al-Quds in a coverage that was also republished by The Washington Post that “the incident, marking the most serious violence between Israel and Syria in years, pointed to likely Iranian involvement.”

Iran, however, has not yet issued any reaction to the reports.

Iran maintains a military advisory presence in Syria, helping the Arab country against foreign-backed militancy and terrorism.

Syria and Israel are technically at war, due to Tel Aviv’s 1967-present occupation of the former’s Golan Heights.

AP also said “explosions were reported across” the occupied territories following the missile incident.

The Israeli regime is the sole owner of a military nuclear program and arsenal in the Middle East, with hundreds of nuclear warheads.

Dimona has for long been identified as the epicenter of the regime’s military nuclear program.

The regime has, however, always avoided scrutiny by the international organizations thanks to its own sheer resentment of accountability and protection by its arch-ally, the United States.

Tel Aviv has even been targeting nuclear activities across the region, including Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy program, on numerous occasions.

Last year too, Natanz was targeted in another terrorist move to blow up parts of the installation in an attack that Tel Aviv has been suspected of orchestrating.

Over the years, the regime has assassinated as many as seven Iranian nuclear scientists.

Israel’s Channel 12, however, carried a broadcast recently, warning that the regime was “nearing the point where Iran will be forced to respond” to its terrorist activities.

The London-based Middle East Monitor news website also interpreted the Dimona incident as a likely instance of retaliation on the part of the Islamic Republic. It likened the missile incident to an earlier incident involving an Israeli-owned vessel.

“[Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu, therefore, may have pushed Iran to retaliate, as it did when it targeted an Israeli-owned ship days after the Natanz incident,” the website wrote.

Tehran has not made any claims about the maritime incident that followed the sabotage at Natanz.

Syrian air defences intercept Israeli attack

Reporting on the aftermath of the Thursday missile incident, Reuters cited the Israeli military as saying that it in response to the launch, it had attacked several missile batteries in Syria, including the one that fired the projectile that fell near Dimona.

The official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), meanwhile, said Syrian air defenses intercepted the Israeli attack that targeted areas in the Damascus countryside.

“Air defenses intercepted the rockets and downed most of them,” the agency said. However, four soldiers were injured in the attack and some material damage was caused, it added.

IRAN NEWS NATIONAL DESK

TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) unveiled a homegrown multiple ballistic missile launcher on Wednesday.

The automated and smart system, used for launching multiple long-range ballistic missiles, has been manufactured by the IRGC Aerospace Force.

The homegrown missile launcher system was unveiled by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami.

“The launch of our missiles rattles the enemy. Our missile power guarantees the withdrawal of enemies,” the IRGC commander said in the unveiling ceremony.

He also said that the deterrent and defense capabilities give Iran huge power that helps the country demonstrate its political will and impose it on the enemy if necessary.

Iranian military experts and technicians have in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.

Major General Hussein Salami said, in a speech, that “the flight of our missiles will shake the enemy’s core, and their force will push the enemy to retreat.” .

The Iranian Air Force had announced that its bombers were able to destroy virtual targets of the enemies in their guerrilla maneuver.

Brigadier General Pilot Farhad Kuderzi, spokesman for the maneuvers in its ninth phase, said that “on the second day of the main and operational phase of the exercises, F-4 bombers and fighters participated in destroying the virtual targets of the enemies.”

The Iranian Armed Forces affirmed that they are prepared to face any threat, stressing that it is committed to fulfilling the orders of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

The deputy chief of the general staff of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Qara Ashtiani, said, “These maneuvers (the air force guerrillas) basically mean the crystallization of national power, and as you have seen, the army air force pilots have trained well in these maneuvers on combined methods, and proved that the air force is capable.”

Iran launched the 9th phase of these maneuvers in the Isfahan Province over the weekend, as they showcased their aerial prowess in a series of drills.

The state-of-the-art projectile hit a mock target after travelling 450km within minutes.

The Admiral Gorshkov, the navy’s most advanced guided-missile frigate, had set off for the White Sea – a marginal sea within the Arctic Ocean – with the Zircon missile on board, Russia’s Defense Ministry revealed, RT reported.

As part of live-fire trials, it fired off the hypersonic cruise missile from one of its vertical silos. It was the first time the Zircon had been trialed for anti-ship warfare, and the weapon “directly hit the seaworthy target located 450km away” in the Barents Sea, the ministry reported.

The missile reached a speed of Mach 8 during the trial – almost eight times faster than the speed of sound.

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to the news on Wednesday, applauding “the enormous work of (Russian) scientists, designers, talented workers, and military specialists.” The mission’s success marks “a big step in equipping the armed forces with the most modern (weapons) systems,” he said.

The Zircon has been in development for several years, and Putin revealed its existence last year, along with that of other hypersonic weapons such as the Avangard (Vanguard) glider, and Kinzhal, an air-launched cruise missile.

The Zircon is thought to be able to reach speeds of up to Mach 9 and will have an operational range that allows it to hit both land- and sea-based targets at a distance of 1,000km. The Russian military said it will likely be mounted on nuclear submarines and surface ships, although a ground-based version of the weapon is also in development.

Tests of the missile began late last year, and it was reportedly tested against a land-based target in January. The Defense Ministry expects it to come into service sometime in the next few years.

Moscow maintains that its ambitious hypersonic program was to assure deterrence after the US withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty in 2002 and rushed to deploy its ballistic missile shields, including those close to Russian borders. Russia’s advances in developing the top-notch weapons has made the US play catch-up for the first time in history, Putin has repeatedly said.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – US President Donald Trump claimed on Friday that Russia created its hypersonic missile after receiving information about such technologies from the administration of his predecessor Barack Obama.

“They (Russia) have the missile, the super-duper-hypersonic missile <…> It goes five times faster than a normal missile,” he told the crowd in Bemidji, Minnesota. “We have one that goes much faster, much faster than that.”

“Russia got that information from the Obama administration, Russia stole that information. You knew that, you knew that. Russia got the information, and then they built it,” the US leader added, TASS reported.

Speaking at a ceremony in the White House in mid-May, Trump said the United States was working on a “super-duper missile” capable of flying 17 times faster than any other missile existing at the moment. He gave no further details.

Lately, senior US officials admitted that the country was trying to catch up with Russia and China in the hypersonic weapon domain. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said on December 7, 2019, that his country was “planning catchup” and “investing every dollar it can” in order to gain an advance in hypersonic weapons.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that now that Moscow had hypersonic weapons there was no point for other countries to spend so much money to deter Russia. He noted that for the first time history Russia had outstripped other countries in terms of developing advanced weapons.

The first missile regiment of Avangard hypersonic cruise missile systems came into service in Russia in late 2019. Apart from that, Russia continues tests of other state-of-the-art weapons, including the Tsirkon hypersonic anti-ship cruise missile and the Sarmat strategic missile system.
