]]> TEHRAN – Iranian director Hossein Parsai plans to stage a musical based Victor Hugo’s French historical novel “Les Misérables” during autumn.

No further details were mentioned in a press release published by a public relations team on Monday.

Earlier in last autumn, Parsai directed a musical based on Charles Dickens’s novel “Oliver Twist” with an all-star cast at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.

Starring Mahnaz Afshar and Navid Mohammadzadeh, the musical was warmly received by theatergoers.
