Turkish baglama master Erzincan and world-renowned Iranian kamancheh virtuoso Kalhor will give their first performance on Monday at the TBA, Kalhor has announced in a post on his Facebook page.

They will also repeat their performance in the city on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kalhor and his fellow tambur virtuoso, Ali Akbar Moradi, will also perform a duet at the Ankara Music Festival today.

Kalhor is scheduled to be in the Lithuanian cities of Vilnius and Kaunas on April 27 and 28 to give solo performances.

De Doelen Auditorium in Rotterdam will host the musicians and their Eastern music aficionados on Friday.

They are also scheduled to perform a duet at Le Cheval Blanc Hall in Schiltigheim, France on November 27.

Kalhor and Erzincan, who released the joint album “The Wind” in 2006, have held several concerts together in different countries.

In addition, Kalhor plans to perform a duet with the Iranian master of bass santur, Ali Bahramifard, in Muziekgebouw Concert Hall in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on November 14.

Kalhor will also give a solo performance at Djanogly Theatre in Nottingham, England on November 15.
