The 2022 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships were held in Phuket, Thailand from May 20 to 28.

Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq and the Philippines have been placed into Pool B of the tournament.

The top two teams in Pool B will join the six Pool A sides in the quarter-finals of the competition.

The competition will be held in Phuket, Thailand from May 20 to 28.

According To Iran News, Iran’s men’s wheelchair basketball team defeated South Korean team at the IWBF Asia Oceania Championships in Pattaya, Thailand on Wednesday.

The Iranian wheelchair basketball team took on South Korea in their fifth match at the IWBF Asia Oceania Championships in Pattaya, Thailand on Wednesday and won 75 to 63.

This was Iran’s third win in the championships. They had beaten China and the hosts Thailand while they lost to Japan and Australia.

The Iranian women’s wheelchair basketball team are also taking part in the IWBF Asia Oceania Championships along with seven other women’s teams while 14 men’s teams are competing in the men’s division.

According To Iran News, Iran’s men’s wheelchair basketball team lost to Australia at the IWBF Asia Oceania Championships in Pattaya, Thailand on Monday, while the women team defeated India.

Iran’s men had started the competition with a 64-60 win over China but lost to Japan and Australia 71-51 and 78-55 respectively in its following matches.

Iran will play host Thailand tomorrow.

The Iranian women team, who had defeated Cambodia 40-22 in its opening match, beat India 43-13 on Monday.

It will meet Thailand on Tuesday.

The competition has four spots available for men and three for women at Tokyo 2020, with one spot in each already allocated to Japan as the host nation.

The games have brought 14 men’s teams and eight women’s teams together.
