TEHRAN (Iran News)  The commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has warned that the Israeli regime will receive a more “crushing response” in case of any new act of aggression against Iran.

Major General Mohammad Pakpour made the remarks during a meeting with Ahmadreza Pourkhaghan, the head of the Judiciary Organization of the Armed Forces, on Saturday.

Referring to the IRGC’s combat readiness, the top commander said that “if the Zionist regime repeats its aggression against the country, it will receive a more regret-inducing and crushing response than the 12-day war in June.”

He also stated that ensuring the safety and security of the IRGC personnel remains a priority, as in the past.

The head of the Judiciary Organization of the Armed Forces, while describing the IRGC as a “thorn in the eyes of enemies of Islam and Iran,” hailed it for defending the nation’s honor and dignity, as well as the oppressed people across the region with all its might for the past 47 years.

While honoring Major General Hossein Salami, he said that although the Israeli assassination of the former IRGC chief was “a great loss for the country”, the timely appointment of General Pakpour by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, “thwarted the Zionist regime’s plot to create chaos in the country.”

Pourkhaghan also paid tribute to Martyr Tehrani Moghaddam, the founding father of Iran’s missile program, and Martyr General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the former commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, for their contributions to make the nation proud.

The IRGC has repeatedly warned the Tel Aviv regime and its main backer, the United States, as well as their allies that the Islamic Republic would give punitive responses to any violation of its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security.

TEHRAN (Iran News) Major General Hossein Salami raised the alarm in an address to IRGC forces in a combat-security drill in the capital Tehran on Thursday as he praised the Iranian nation’s resilience and determination in tough times as well as sacrifices of Muslims in defending their territories over the years.

Stressing that the world’s major powers cannot stand up to the Islamic Republic’s resolve, Salami said the whole “evil powers” have at the present time lined up against Islam and Muslims in a historical confrontation.

“The most modern armies of the world have come to the aid of the Zionist regime. The stage depicts a global formation of powers that intend to force us to submit to their will so that they will rule over the fate of Muslims, occupy their lands and rob them of their religious identity,” the IRGC chief said.

“A real and historical confrontation is in the making,” Salami added. “You will lose and you will not be able to survive in the face of Muslims. Although you destroy houses, demolish cities and villages, and bury oppressed Muslims under the rubble, you should know that if you killed 40,000 Palestinians in the besieged and defenseless Gaza Strip, another 100,000 Palestinian children were born.”

The chief commander said the resistance fighters are taking revenge for the blows that the Israeli regime inflicted on their commanders and youths, underlining that the “glorious path is not terminable” and will continue.

“We are standing face to face and we will fight with you until the end and we will not allow you to dominate the fate of Muslims,” Salami said. “We will take revenge. You will receive painful blows; keep waiting.”

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime’s decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

The regime’s bloody onslaught on Gaza has so far killed more than 43,700 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured over 103,000 others. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under rubble.

Israel also launched a ground assault and massive air campaign against Lebanon in late September after a year of exchanging fire across the Lebanese border in parallel with the Gaza war.

At least 3,287 people have been killed in Israeli strikes in Lebanon over the last year, with the vast majority in the past seven weeks. Another 14,222 have been wounded, mostly women and children.

The Axis of Resistance has over the past year launched hundreds of missiles at the Israeli-occupied territories in support of Gaza and Lebanon, not least in the last couple of months since the regime killed top resistance leaders, including Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

“Our nation has been obstructing the enemies’ evil plots in the past 42 years [since the victory of the Islamic Revolution] as today, we are the ones that set conditions [for talks] and decide for our own destiny,” Major General Hossein Salami said in a conference in Tehran on Sunday.

Referring to the nature of resistance in the Islamic Revolution and the praiseworthy commitment of the Iranian nation, the IRGC chief said, “Our Revolution is a continuation of the mission of the divine prophets, the same mission that came to pure the earth.”

Therefore, he noted, it is obvious that the enemies from across the world would be against such a spirit, and subsequently, make every effort to obstruct its path.

All of the enemy’s dreams and objectives have ended in failure, the general said, adding that the policy of maximum pressure, for instance, has also failed to prevent Iran from boosting its capabilities, including those in the defense sector.

“We are witnessing the decay and weakening of the enemy and it does not look like a power and empire anymore.”

He concluded, “The enemy today has realized that power is what we have. Today, we set condition [for talks] for the enemy, and this is due to the power of the righteous people, who were able to understand the truth of life.”

He added Iran has obtained plenty of modern weapons, reminding the enemies that it is the Islamic Republic that sets conditions.

Salami said the Islamic Republic is not dealing with the enemies with empty hands anymore, as is has plenty of modern weapons.

“Today, we set conditions for the enemy. Of course whenever we were restricted by their (enemy’s) conditions, we lost. But when we set conditions for the enemy, we won,” he added.
