 Iranian futsal goalkeeper Farzaneh Tavasoli has been nominated for the Best Female Goalkeeper in the World.

UMBRO Futsal Awards 2018 has announced the nominees for best futsal goalkeeper of the world and the name of Iran’s national futsal team member Tavasoli is seen among others.

She will compete for the award with Ana Catarina Silva Pereira (POR), Ana Etayo Garde (ESP), Anastasia Ivanova (RUS), Bianca Castagnaro Moraes (BRA), Jhennifer Aparecida De Oliveira Camargo, Maria Antonia Mascia (ITA), and Silvia Aguete Outón (ESP).

Tavasoli won the AFC Women’s Futsal Championship in May for the second successive year with Iran’s national team.

The last year’s award went to Estela García Rodero from Spain.

The winners of the UMBRO Futsal Awards 2018 will be announced on January 10.
