He will be assisted by Saeid Alinejadian and Saeid Ghasemi while Morteza Mansourian will be the fourth official.

The final will take place between Esteghlal and Tractor in Mashhad on Thursday.

Bonyadifar, 35, has been officiating in Iran Professional League (IPL) for six seasons and has been on the international list since 2013.

]]> TEHRAN (Iran News) – The FIVB Refereeing Commission has announced that Iranian referee Farhad Shahmiri will officiate at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The age limit for an international referee is 55 years, volleyball.ir reported.

Shahmiri, who has turned 55, was supposed to officiate at the 2020 Olympic Games for the last time, but the Games were postponed due to coronavirus outbreak.

Now the FIVB Refereeing Commission has announced that the Iranian referee is eligible for the Games which will be held next year.

Shahmiri has already whistled in the two previous Olympics in London and Rio de Janeiro.

The volleyball tournaments at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo will be played between July 23 to August 8.

A total of 24 volleyball teams and 48 beach volleyball teams will participate in the tournament.

]]> TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iranian referee Bijan Heydari has been chosen to officiate at the 2020 AFC Cup in March.

He will whistle a match between Singapore’s Tampines Rovers and Shan United of Myanmar in Group H.

The match is scheduled for March 10 at the Bishan Stadium in Singapore.

The 2020 AFC Cup group stage will be played from February 10 to June 17.

A total of 36 teams will compete in the group stage to decide the 11 places in the knockout stage of the 2020 AFC Cup.

Week 2 of the VNL will be hosted by four cities, and one is China’s Ningbo where France, Bulgaria, Poland and the host will play matches in pool 5 of the preliminary round.

The 2019 men’s VNL kicks off this Friday with the match between Iran and Italy in China’s Jiangmen.

The men’s VNL features 16 teams playing in round-robin over five weekends. The competition will wrap up on June 30, before the top six teams move to Chicago for the finals from July 10-14.

Sheikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, the president of Asian Football Confederation, presented ‘AFC Referees Special Award’ of 2018 to world-class Iranian referees.

In a ceremony held on Friday on the sideline of AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates, the AFC chief presented Alireza Faghani, Reza Sokhandan, and Mohammadreza Mansouri with their ‘AFC Referees Special Award’.

Iranian referees were absent at the main ceremony which was held on November 28, 2018, in Muscat, Oman.

The Iranian trio delivered a superb performance in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, officiating four games including the third-place playoff between Belgium and England.
