Imam Khomeini Airport to Be Transferred to the Private Sector
TEHRAN - The CEO of Imam Khomeini Airport City Company announced that the government aims to reduce its direct involvement in airport operations and instead rely on private sector capacity. So far, contracts worth nearly 400 trillion rials (approximately $8 billion USD) have been signed with private investors.
