According To Iran News, The Syrian Army has reportedly launched a series of attacks on the positions of ISIL terrorists in the southern Idlib on Saturday, according to Al-Mayadeen.

Syrian security officials said that the terrorists based in the southern Idlib intended to launch operations against Resistance Forces.

After monitoring ISIL movements, the Resistance Forces also targeted the positions of the terrorists on the outskirts of Idlib.

The patrol mission by Russia and Turkey began from the settlement of Tronba in Idlib, the last militant stronghold in the country, on Sunday.

According to the Russian media, Moscow sent military police and armored vehicles to the patrol. Turkey also dispatched a new military convoy to the region.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Saturday that a Turkish convoy, consisting of nearly 20 military vehicles, had crossed into the Syrian territory through the Kafr Lusin border crossing, and headed towards Turkish positions.

The Russian-Turkish coordination center will oversee the first joint patrol mission.

On March 5, Russia and Turkey, which support opposite sides in the Syrian conflict, came to an agreement on a ceasefire regime in Idlib, where Turkish aggression had risked the breakout of war.

According to the agreement, joint Russian-Turkish patrols will secure a six-kilometer-wide corridor along the M4 highway connecting the two government-held provinces of Latakia and Aleppo.

The ceasefire also consolidates Syrian control over the M5 highway, which links the capital to the major cities of Hama, Homs, and Aleppo.

The ceasefire came a few months after the Syrian army launched an anti-terror operation against foreign-sponsored militants in Idlib after they failed to honor a de-escalation agreement between Ankara and Moscow.

Ankara has long sought a “safe zone” in northern Syria void of Kurdish militants — whom it sees as terrorists tied to the autonomy-seeking Kurdish group’s militants at home.

The new pact came after a series of deadly clashes between Turkish and Syrian government troops.

According To Iran News, America’s special envoy for Syria told reporters in Brussels on Tuesday that the US may assist Turkey in Idlib within the framework of NATO.

James Franklin Jeffrey added that the United States would respond with unspecified measures and sanctions if Russia or Syria violated the recently-agreed-to ceasefire in Idlib.

He did not elaborate on whether any action would be taken if Turkey is the side that breaks the ceasefire deal.

Jeffrey did not rule out assisting Turkey in Idlib within the framework of NATO, including supplying missile defense systems.

“We are looking at what NATO can do, all options on the table,” Jeffrey replied when asked whether the US was considering supplying the Patriot systems.

As Sputnik reported, he clarified, however, that the US is not considering deploying ground troops, in line with plans to phase out its military presence in Syria and other hotspots, but will look at whether it could provide aerial assistance.

According To Iran News, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have announced a military ceasefire in Idlib, after a six-hour meeting in Moscow on Thursday.

The announcement that took effect from midnight on Friday will end weeks of heavy fighting that sparked a humanitarian disaster and raised fears of their armies clashing, MoscowTimes reported.

The agreement will also create a security corridor along the key M4 highway in northern Syria, where Turkish and Russian forces will launch joint patrols from March 15.

The deal aims to put a stop to intense fighting in Idlib, the northwestern province of Syria where Ankara is battling Moscow-backed government forces.

Nearly a million of civilians have fled their homes due to the violence.

Putin told a joint press conference after the talks that the agreement would “serve as a good basis for ending fighting” in Idlib and for “stopping the suffering of the civilian population”.

“The object is to avoid the humanitarian crisis getting worse,” Erdogan said, though he added that Turkey reserved the right to “retaliate with all its strength against any attack” by Damascus.

The situation in Idlib, the last militant stronghold in Syria’s nine-year civil war, had become critical as Ankara for the first time launched a direct offensive against President Bashar al-Assad’s forces.

Turkey has long backed certain militant groups against Assad forces but its priority now is to stop an influx of refugees among those fleeing an offensive the Syrian government has been pressing on terror cells in Idlib since December.

Ankara has demanded the European Union support its actions in Syria and last week opened its border with Greece to migrants — a move decried by some in the bloc as “blackmail”.

Despite supporting opposing sides in the war, Russia and Turkey have worked to try to resolve the conflict and avoid direct confrontation.

The two countries agreed a deal in the southern Russian city of Sochi in 2018 that created a “de-escalation” zone in Idlib and allowed for the deployment of 12 Turkish observation posts.

In the run-up to Thursday’s talks, the two sides had traded accusations of violating the deal.

Ankara said Russia was not fulfilling part of the agreement that guaranteed no attacks on Idlib and the status quo on the ground.

Moscow in turn said Turkey was breaching the agreement by supporting “illegal armed groups” and accused Turkish forces of mingling with “terrorists” in Idlib.

Turkey officially declared an operation against the Assad government over the weekend, after 34 Turkish soldiers died in an air strike blamed on Damascus.

It has since downed three Syrian warplanes and killed dozens of soldiers and allied fighters, according to monitors. Fighting continued in the province on Thursday.

Erdogan warned Europe on Wednesday that it must support Turkey’s “political and humanitarian solutions in Syria” if it wants to avoid a repeat of the 2015 migration crisis.

Thousands of migrants have massed at the Turkish-Greek border since Erdogan gave them the green light to try to enter Europe, leading to clashes with Greek police.

Turkey hosts roughly 3.6 million refugees from Syria — and hundreds of thousands from elsewhere — and Erdogan’s move has sparked concern in Europe of a renewed influx of migrants.

“At 00:30 on Thursday our air defense monitored Israeli warplanes coming from northern occupied Palestine towards Sidon, and several missiles were fired from Lebanese airspace towards the central area,” SANA news agency reported.

According To Iran News, The Syrian army killed 75 militants of Takfiri terrorist groups over the past 24 hours during its military operation.

The Syrian army continued their military operations against the terrorist groups in Saraqeb in Idlib southeastern countryside, and also inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist groups, according to SANA.

At least 75 Takfiri terrorists were killed and tens of others wounded in Saraqeb.

According To Iran News, Syrian soldiers continued their operations against terrorists on Monday, managing to retake the key town of Saraqeb in Idlib after severely hitting their positions and fortification lines.

According to Syrian media, the army troops recaptured Saraqeb in northwestern Syria after inflicting major losses on the terrorists, who receive direct military support from Turkish forces, and are provided with various kinds of artillery rounds, rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The reports added that the Syrian forces are now busy clearing the regained area of the remaining terrorists holed up in parts of the town.

Syrian forces are advancing against foreign-backed Takfiri militants in Idlib, tightening the noose around the extremists in their last major stronghold.

According to what was gone viral in the virtual space, President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday had a phone conversation with Turkish President RecepTayyip Erdogan to encourage him to revise his view over the support of remaining terrorists in the Syrian province of Idlib, and it seems Erdogan has not accepted Rouhani’s advice and even has crossed the line and talked with a high hand with the Iranian president.

This model of neighborhood from a country which owes all of its economy to the war between Iran and Iraq is actually neither fair nor prudent. Since in north of Syria, it matters Turkey’s support and its request for the U.S., Americans’ arms and drones support is for weakening Syrian Army and revival of terrorist group members. So, the terrorist group members continued their atrocities on Wednesday with full support of Turkish Army, accompanied with the U.S. drones. They could advance in some strategic points in strategic city of Saraqib in east of the Idlib Province and occupied them.

So it was natural that resistance camp in Syria to have political and diplomatic reactions in order to issue their ultimatum for future military reactions.

Russian Army had set some red lines for withdrawal of Turkey and currently those red lines have been violated. Iran’s Foreign Ministry this week blasted the U.S. interference in the process of Astana Agreement measures, and political experts consider the current trend and reactions as the U.S. military involvement in attacks on Syrian Army and Resistant Axis positions.

Field observers regarding Syria’s legal defense of its territory and security believe that Turkey is unable to overcome the Resistance current and Erdogan’s request from the U.S. military intervention is for this reason.

On Tuesday when Syrian Army was advancing in south of the province of Idlib for clearing the strategic Jabal al-Zawiya region, terrorist group members conducted heavy attacks in east of Idlib. According to news reports monitoring Syrian developments, terrorist groups, backed by Turkish Army and government and the U.S. drones, launched a massive attack against Syrian forces south of city of Idlib to take the strategic town of Nayrab.

Unlike Erdogan and Turkey’s senior military officials’ claim, Tuesday’s drone attacks against Syrian Army as well as the base of resistance forces in Aleppo were conducted with full support of the U.S. Army and field reports show that all drone attacks were fully carried out by the U.S. drones.

According to the Astana Agreement, Iran was not to deploy air defense system and Russia had been tasked with deploying defense system there and in this current condition any behind the scene bargain between Russia and Erdogan to give way to the U.S. arrival to defend terrorist is imaginable.

I wish Erdogan was wise and he did not stretch his hands towards the U.S. and it did not distance itself from Iran and the resistance line. I wish Erdogan as an Islamic country did not pursue the Zionists’ goals. I wish Erdogan had stretched hand of sincerity towards Iran and administered some axis of the resistance in the region. Thatthe resistance will definitely be the winner in the region  and Islamic countries with unity will run the West of Asia is God’s will and it is one of the goals of Re-Appearance and everybody opposes this current, will definitely collapse and ruin.

As we see, the U.S. is definitely leaving Afghanistan; itwill leave Iraq and north of Syria and the region will be run by people of the region, and disgrace will be for short-sighted acts either for Erdogan or for Russians in case they do not remain committed to their agreement. Iran will never leave the resistance scene especially supporting Syria, and bad for those who stand against Iran in this Divine current.
