]]> TEHRAN (Iran News) – Hooman Afazeli was named the new head coach of the Machine Sazi football team on Wednesday.

He replaced as Reza Mohajeri just two days after resigning as head coach of Pars Jonoubi.

Afazeli started his coaching career in Shahab Zanjan in 2001 and has coached Steel Azin, Saba Qom, and Naft Tehran.

He was also the head coach of the Iran U-23 football team in 2010.

Machine Sazi sits 11th in the Iran Professional League, five points above the relegation zone.
