										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TEHRAN (<a href="https://irannewsdaily.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Iran News</a>) – Iran’s Health Ministry spokeswoman said the novel coronavirus has killed 109 patients from Sunday to Monday, bringing the overall death toll to 21,571.</p>

<p>In a press briefing on Monday, Sima Sadat Lari said the country’s coronavirus cases have risen to 375,212 following the detection of 1,642 new cases since Sunday, IRNA reported.</p>
<p>At least 323,233 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman said.</p>
<p>Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 3,729 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions because of more severe infection, Lari noted.</p>
<p>She also said more than 3,231,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.</p>
<p>Lari said the high-risk “red” zones include Tehran, Qom, Mazandaran, East Azarbaijan, Isfahan, Yazd, Khorasan Razavi, North Khorasan, Semnan, Gilan, Zanjan, Qazvin, and Kerman provinces.</p>
<p>The “orange” zones also include Lorestan, Ardebil, Golestan, Markazi, Alborz, Hormuzgan, Ilam, Fars, Bushehr, West Azarbaijan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kermanshah, South Khorasan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, and Khuzestan provinces, she added.</p>
<p>The number of people infected with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) across the world has surpassed 25.4 million and the death toll has exceeded 851,000.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TEHRAN (<a href="https://irannewsdaily.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Iran News</a>) – The number of people who have recovered from the novel coronavirus in Iran has exceeded 140,000, the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.</p>
<p>Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Sima Sadat Lari said the total number of people tested positive for COVID-19 in Iran has risen to 177,938 following the detection of 2,011 new cases since yesterday.</p>
<p>Of the new cases detected since yesterday, 811 patients have been admitted to the hospital, she added.</p>
<p>At least 140,590 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far and have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman said.</p>
<p>Health Ministry spokeswoman further put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 8,506, saying the disease has taken the lives of 81 patients over the past 24 hours.</p>
<p>The spokeswoman also said more than 1,151,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.</p>
<p>The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 7,323,000 and the death toll has exceeded 413,000.</p>
