“The U.S. president is unaware of realities in Iran. He has not studied history of the relations between the two countries and does not know Iran’s capabilities,” the former Iranian ambassador to Paris and Foreign Ministry spokesman told the Jam-e Jam daily in an interview published on Saturday.

He said Iran will not accept any negotiation with the U.S., adding if Trump was really interested in dialogue with Iran he had had to compensate for the mistakes of his predecessors, adopted a different approach, and showed respect for Iran as an equal partner.
