<p>Iran collected three gold medals and four bronzes in the competition.</p>
<p>Mohammad Naghousi in 82kg, Ali Ahmadi Vafa in 55kg and Fardin Hedayati in 130kg claimed three gold medals.</p>
<p>Erfan Jarkani in 63kg, Danial Sohrab in 72kg, Ali Oskou in 77kg and Shayan Habibzare in 97kg won four bronze medals.</p>

<p>The Iranian wrestlers claimed four gold, four silver and five bronze medals in the competition held in Zagreb, Croatia.</p>
<p>Iran won the team title with 195 points, followed by Hungary and Azerbaijan with 80 points.</p>
<p>The freestyle team had previously finished in second place in the Zagreb Open Ranking Series.</p>

<p class="summary">Iran capped off their Greco-Roman domination at the Asian Junior Championships by picking up two gold medals on the second day of competition at the I.G. Sports Complex in New Delhi, India.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, Iran inserted five wrestlers into the finals and grabbed four gold medals. Today, they followed that up by placing four additional wrestlers into the finals, winning two gold medals. In total, Iran placed nine of ten wrestlers in the Greco-Roam finals and took home an impressive six gold medals.</p>
<p>Hosein FOROUZANDEH GHOJEHBEIGLOU (IRI) and Amin KAVIYANINEJAD (IRI) were the two Iranian heroes who closed out the Greco-Roman portion of the tournament with gold medals. Both wrestlers used shutout victories to claim their second age-level continental championships.</p>
<p>Sajjad IMENTALABFOUMANI (IRI) was the lone Iranian who didn&#8217;t make the Greco-Roman finals. Though he did not make the finals, he did save Iran’s quest for ten medals, fighting back after a heartbreaking semifinal loss to win two straight matches and seal his spot in the third-place match. In the bronze medal bout, Imentalbfoumani blanked India’s Malkit HOODA (IND), 7-0 and finished in third place.</p>
<p>Overall, Iran finished with 30 wins and only suffered four defeats. More impressive, they shutout twenty opponents and finished sixteen bouts with technical superiority victories, UWW reported.</p>

<p>The world military wrestling championship in both freestyle and Greco-Roman has kicked off on May 14 and will continue to May 20.</p>
<p>Mohammad Nourbakhsh, in 63kg, snatched the gold medal for Iran.</p>
<p>Also Shirzad Beheshti claimed the bronze medal in 60kg.</p>
<p>Arman Alizadeh have won the ticket to the final match of 87kg which is going to be held tonight.</p>
<p>Also, Mehdi Mohammad Zadeh in 82kg, Ali-Akbar Heidari in 97kg and Benhnam Mahdi-Zadeh in 130kg have a change to fight for bronze medal.</p>

<p>The host nation, Uzbekistan, along with Japan, Kazakhstan and Korea also had a wrestler capture a gold medal, unitedworldwrestling.org reported.</p>
<p>Iran’s Amirreza Dehbozorgi won a gold medal in the 45kg after defeating Akyikat Kulzhigit Uulu from Kyrgyzstan.</p>
<p>Bronze medal went to Aslamdzhon Azizov from Tajikistan and Kazakhstan’s Maksat Yermanov.</p>
<p>In the 48kg medal bout, Sajjad Abbaspour beat Iskhar Kurbayev from Kazakhstan to give Iran back-to-back continental titles.</p>
<p>Japanese Taiga Onishi and Abror Atabaev from Uzbekistan won the bronze medal.</p>
<p>Mohammad Nosrati gave Iran their third gold medal of the competition’s first day after shutting out Kumar Nitesh from India 6-0 in the 92kg finals.</p>
<p>South Korean Minho Lee and Uzbekistan’s Abrorbek Nurmkhammedov claimed the bronze medals.</p>
<p>In the 60kg medal bout, Iran’s Shahin Badaghi lost to Asilbek Nematov from Uzbekistan and claimed a silver medal.</p>
<p>Bronze medals were won by Elmirbek Sadyrov and Japanese Kosei Takeshita.</p>
<p>In the 55kg class, Amirhossein Khounsari from Iran won a bronze medal. Din Mukhamed from Kazakhstan took the gold medal after defeating Amirbek Sultonov from Uzbekistan in the final match.</p>
<p>Also, Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Mohammadreza Eisa Abdian also seized a bronze medal in the 110kg.</p>
<p>Gold medal went to Sungjun Eun from South Korea who beat Mukhammadali Saydullaev from Uzbekistan.</p>

<p>In the competitions held in Mahshahr, southern port of Iran, the Iranian team won three gold, one silver and eight bronze medals.</p>
<p>Iran won the title with 192 points, Turkey came second with 171 points and Kazakhstan finished in third place with 145 points.</p>

<p><strong>The Islamic Republic of Iran will host the 2018 Men&#8217;s Greco-Roman Wrestling World Cup next year, which serves as an international wrestling tournament among member nations of the United World Wrestling (UWW).</strong></p>
<p>The prestigious event will kick off on April 27, and finish the next day in the multi-purpose Sports Hall of Shahid Chamran University in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz, located 834 kilometers southwest of the capital Tehran.</p>
<p>The tournament will bring together athletes from Iran as well as Armenia, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey.</p>
<p>The 2017 Men&#8217;s Greco-Roman Wrestling World Cup was held in Abadan, Iran at the Kowsar Sport Complex between March 16 and March 17.</p>
<p>Russia won the tournament after a three years absence of titles on the World Cups.</p>
