IRGC Quds Force chief thanks Rouhani for oil threat

TEHRAN – Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the IRGC Quds Force, has thanked President Hassan Rouhani for responding strongly to a U.S. plan aimed at reducing Iran’s oil sales.

Rouhani, who was on a trip of Switzerland on Tuesday, threatened that if Iran would not be able to export oil then no country in the Persian Gulf region can do so.

The threat by Rouhani came a few days after the U.S. gave Iranian oil customers a November deadline to stop their purchases.

“Cutting Iran’s oil would mean cutting the region’s oil,” Rouhani threatened on Monday, adding, “It would be meaningless that Iran cannot export its oil while others in the region can. Do this if you can and see its consequences!”

In his Tuesday letter to Rouhani, General Soleimani praised the Iranian president for his tough response to the threats and said, “This is the Dr. Rouhani we used to know and the one he should be.”

In his remarks, Rouhani also asserted that “we told all our foreign parties that if they speak to the Iranian nation with the language of logic and respect, then we can get problems solved… and that threats, pressure and humiliation will never work against the people of Iran.”

Iran’s Soleimani says Saudis interfered in Lebanese elections

TEHRAN – General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the IRGC Quds Force, said on Monday that Saudis attempted to interfere in Lebanon’s May elections.

“Saudi Arabia spent 200 million dollars in a short period of time on the Lebanon elections, however, Hezbollah won. Recent elections in Lebanon were a referendum,” he stated.

He also said that Hezbollah won 74 seats out of a total of 128 seats in Lebanon’s parliament and this has turned Lebanon into a resistance government and this is a “great victory”.

Lebanese general elections were held on May 6.

Hezbollah and groups and individuals affiliated to it were the biggest winners in Lebanon’s first general election in nine years.

Hezbollah’s allies include the Amal Movement led by Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and the Christian Free Patriotic Movement founded by President Michel Aoun.

Lebanon’s parliamentary elections were delayed three times since 2009 due to the crisis in neighboring Syria as well as disagreement over the country’s new electoral law.

Iranian pres., parl. speaker laud Maj. Gen. Suleymani’s efforts

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani sent two separate messages to an event in Tehran hailing the selfless efforts of Major General Qassem Soleimani, the Commander of IRGC Quds Force in the war against ISIL in Iraq and Syria.

Forwarding a message of appreciation to a meeting organized to honor the efforts of Major General Qassem Soleimani, the Commander of IRGC Quds Force, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressed gratitude for all the efforts of the Quds Force commander in preserving stability in the region and fighting terrorism in neighboring countries.

The event was held on Tuesday afternoon at Ferdowsi Hall of Literature Faculty of Tehran University.

He hailed the General’s role in eradicating the “accursed tree of ISIL” in Iraq and Syria as a big service to whole humanity and all of the nations of the region.

In another message to the same event, Ali Larijani, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, hailed Major General Soleimani for his selfless devotion to the causes of the Islamic Republic of Iran. “The selflessness Major General Soleimani has been of strategic value for the present and the future of our country,” reads Larijani’s message.

Lunatic Attempts Signify Israel’s Impermanence: General Soleimani

Israel’s horror, maniacal measures and vain attempts indicate that the Zionist regime is not going to last long, senior Iranian commander Major General Qassem Soleimani said Thursday.

“This regime (Israel) is not going to survive. The measures of this mercenary regime show that it is not permanent, as there are no factors or signs of permanence in the (Zionist) regime,” Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Quds Force Major General Soleimani said in a ceremony in Tehran.

The cultural event was held in commemoration of Imad Mughniyeh, a senior member of Lebanon’s Islamic Jihad Organization and Hezbollah who was assassinated in February 2008 in a car bomb blast near Syria’s Damascus.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Iranian commander pointed to the obvious clues to impermanence of the Israeli regime, saying the “horror, the lunatic struggles and the futile (military) operations” explain the Tel Aviv regime’s “vain last-ditch attempts.”

He further said that the price for the blood of Mughniyeh and all those martyred in Israeli plots in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and elsewhere would be “eradication of the child-murdering Zionist regime.”

His comments came a few days after IRGC Lieutenant Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami warned the Israeli regime of a hell that Iran could create for Zionists, recommending Israel to abandon the dream of conquering lands from “the river to the sea”, a term Zionists use to refer to territories from the River Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea.

IRGC commander Soleimani reaffirms full support for Palestinian resistance groups

Major General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ Quds Force, has reaffirmed the Islamic Republic’s full support for Palestinian resistance movements.

Soleimani made the remarks in a phone call on Monday with commanders of Hamas’ military wing, Ezzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, which has been defending the blockaded Gaza Strip against Israel’s acts of aggression, and the Islamic Jihad resistance movement.

The senior IRGC commander also urged all resistance movements in the region to boost their readiness to defend the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Soleimani’s comments came amid simmering tensions in the occupied territories of Palestine following a decision by US President Donald Trump to formally recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as the capital of Israel.

Trump on Wednesday defied global warnings and said Washington formally recognized Jerusalem al-Quds as the “capital” of Israel and would begin the process of moving its embassy to the occupied city, breaking with decades of American policy.

The announcement prompted harsh international warnings that it would bring more chaos to the Middle East region. Several protests have been held in many countries over the past days against the US and Israel.

Earlier on Monday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani held talked on phone with Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, saying that unity and resistance of the oppressed Palestinian people and other Muslim nations would definitely lead to the failure of the US-Zionist plan to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s “capital.”

Rouhani added that the “insulting” move by the US president was a vicious plan against Palestine and the Muslim world, urging all Muslims to stand against it in unison.

Also on Monday, the leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, said Trump’s decision to formally recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as the capital of Israel had made the United States and White House isolated in the world.

Hezbollah leader also stated that the most important response to be given to Trump was to declare the beginning of a new intifada, noting that “Trump’s decision on al-Quds will be the beginning of the end of Israel.”

Clashes broke out between Israeli forces and Palestinian protesters on Monday, who took to the streets for the fifth consecutive day to censure the US president’s decision.

Israeli forces fired tear gas and rubber bullets in several areas across the occupied West Bank, including Ramallah and Nablus, to disperse the Palestinian demonstrators, who threw rocks at them in return.

Leader to Quds Force chief: You did great service to humanity by destroying Daesh

TEHRAN – Thanking Quds Force Commander General Qassem Soleimani for congratulating him on the fall of Daesh in both Syria and Iraq, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution issued a message in which he said the defeat of Daesh dealt a great blow not only to this sinister and repressive group it also came as greater blow to those who created civil war in the region with the aim of destroying the anti-Zionist groups and weakening independent governments.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the defeat of Daesh was a disappointment to “the former and current U.S. administrations” and the “dependent regimes” in the region who “created this group” and provided every kind of support for it in order spread their “filthy domination” in West Asia and make the Zionist regime dominant in the region.

“You, by destroying this cancerous and dangerous tumor not only did a great service to regional countries and the Islamic world you also did a great service to humanity,” part of the Leader’s message read.

Earlier in the day Major General Soleimani, who has been at frontline positions in battles against Daesh in Iraq and Syria, thanked Ayatollah Khamenei’s wise leadership, the sacrifices of Iraqi and Syrian people and governments as well as the Iranian military advisors for their courageous fight against the terrorist Daesh group.

Gen. Soleimani congratulates end of ISIL domination to Leader

In a message to the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Commander of IRGC Quds Force Major General Ghasem Soleimani congratulated him and the Muslim world the end of evil domination of ISIL terrorist group.

Following the historic victory of Islamic Resistance front over the Takfiri terrorism and full eradication of the ISIL realized by lowering the flag of this American-Zionist-sponsored group in al-Bukamal, General Soleimani issued an important message on Tuesday to the Leader of Islamic Revolution.

Following is the text of his message:

Six years ago, a devastating sedition, like the ones occurring in the time of Imam Ali (AS) and which deprived Muslims of the true understanding of the authentic Muhammadi Islam, took place this time more complicatedly, dipped in the poison of Zionism and Arrogance to overthrow the Islamic world.

This devastating and poisonous sedition was created by the enemies of Islam with the aim to widespread war in the Islamic world and fight among Muslims. The evil move under the name of “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant” succeeded in the early months of its existence to seduce tens of thousands of Muslim youths from both countries, throwing Syria and Iraq into a very dangerous ‘crisis mode’, capturing hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of lands of these countries, along with thousands of villages, towns and provincial centers, destroying thousands of factories and major infrastructures, including roads, bridges, refineries, wells, oil lines, gas and power plants and other cases of this kind, and burning major cities full of historic treasures and national civilization.

Although the data for casualties is not statistically verified yet, the preliminary studies estimate them at $ 500 billion. In the incident, appalling crimes took place that cannot be depicted. Children were beheaded, men were skinned alive in front of their families, innocent girls and women were taken hostage and raped, and many people were burned alive and hundreds of young people were beheaded.

Astonished at this poisonous storm, some of Muslim people of these countries went under Takfiris’ sharp swords, and some left their homes in millions and became homeless in other countries’ cities.

In this black sedition, thousands of Muslim mosques and other sacred sites were destroyed, while some were detonated with their Imams and prayers inside.

More than 6,000 young people who were deceived into Jihad, blew themselves up inside their bomb-laden cars and destroyed mosques, schools, even hospitals and public Muslim worshipping places; martyring tens of thousands of innocent men and woman and children.

As part of their recent achievement, the Syrian army and its allied forces liberated the strategic border town of al-Bukamal from hands of ISIL terrorists.
