Meeting PMF leader Falih al-Fayyadh in Tehran on Sunday, General Salami praised the resistance organization for its strategic role in defeating the terrorist organization of Daesh (ISIL) and maintaining national security and stability.

“The real political force is the field power, and the Mobilization Force is extraordinary in this sense. God willing, their power will be expanded as a defensive force based on great ideals, firm beliefs, internal unity and a high degree of discipline.”

Salami also described the resistance movement and the connection between the PMF and the people as the key to its success, saying, “You and all of us must be vigilant to prevent the people from being affected by the psychological warfare launched by the enemy. Even if you have left the difficult phase of the fight behind, you should never ignore the enemy’s tricks.”

He also said that an important part of what is now called the decline of the United States on the world stage occurred in Iraq.

This means that the resistance formed in that country weakened the Americans, exhausted them, increased their costs, and allowed them to choose between two evils: stay and suffer harm, or leave and admit defeat, Salami explained.

The head of the IRGC further emphasized that the connection between the IRGC and the PMF is rooted in the sacred religion of Islam, regardless of geographical boundaries.

“We are the continuous supporters of the Resistance Front and this great battle. We hope that the resolution of the Iraqi parliament on the withdrawal of U.S. troops from the country can be fully enacted, and that an independent, sovereign and secure Iraq will continue to exist and advance without an occupier,” the top general remarked.

On January 3, 2020, the United States assassinated Iran’s legendary counterterrorism commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and his Iraqi companions including PMF deputy leader Abu Mahdi Muhandis in a drone strike near Baghdad International Airport.

Two days later, the Iraqi Parliament unanimously passed a bill requiring all U.S.-led foreign troops to withdraw from Iraq.

However, since then Washington has been delaying troop withdrawal, occasionally targeting counter-terrorism organizations.

At Sunday’s meeting, Falih thanked the Iranian nation and the IRGC for their support of the Iraqi people and the PMF.

“Martyr Soleimani was the one who inspired the mobilization of the troops. Today, the PMF owes its existence to the efforts of General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis,

who sacrificed their lives,” he said, adding, “Any power or country that is friendly to Iraq will not be hostile to the PMF.”

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iran has unveiled an underground base for “strategic missiles” on its Gulf coastline, according to state media. Video broadcast by state media Friday showed the head of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards, Chief-Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards General Hossein Salami, touring what appears to be a long underground tunnel lined with missiles and missile launchers.

In his visit to the missile base, General Salami was accompanied by IRGC Navy Commander Brigadier General Alireza Tangsiri. Speaking on the sidelines of the visit to the units and missile systems deployed in the base, General Salami the base is one of the several bases housing the Navy’s strategic missiles.

TEHRAN – Chief Commander of Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami ruled out any compromise with the United States, calling it a ‘political deception’ by Washington.

Attending the open session of the parliament on the occasion of Holy Defense Week, General Salami said: “There is no military option available for the U.S. and war is ruled out. They are using economic pressure and psychological warfare. We have to work day and night in this economic war. The enemy is neither able nor willing to solve our problems, and the path to our prosperity does not pass through interaction with the U.S. If we compromise with the United States, it will damage us. Every nation does not break until it bends, and the story of compromise is a political deception.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, the IRGC chief commander described the 1980-1988 Iraqi imposed war on Iran as “a world war,” citing the military support provided by Britain, Germany, France, Austria, the Soviet Union and the U.S. to the regime of Iraq’s former dictator Saddam Hussein.

“The world attacked us at the height of its power, while we were at the height of our scarcity and loneliness, and this was the most unequal war in history after Ashura,” he said, referring to the Battle of Karbala in southern Iraq in 680 AD, during which the third Shia Imam and his 72 companions were martyred after fighting courageously for justice against the much larger army of the Umayyad caliph, Yazid I.”

“The Iranian nation achieved grandeur in the war, acted beyond the will of big powers, shattered their dream and stood against great enemies,” Salami stressed.

The IRGC commander emphasized: “The United States has gradually lost its influence and has not been able to achieve a field victory. It brought ISIS to the scene, and we made the U.S. failed at no cost and foiled its aspirations for the changing of West Asia. The U.S. is retreating.”

Referring to the harsh economic sanctions imposed on Iran, Gen Salami said: “Once again, we fight in this economic war, which has a global dimension. People endure hardships because they want dignity and independence.”

Salami also highlighted the role of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in guiding the nation on the path of resistance, saying the Leader did not buckle under the enemies’ pressure and helped Iranians stand against their economic sanctions.

“The Iranian people want dignity. The Iranian people do not exchange their independence, honor, freedom and magnanimity for anything,” he said.

Although military avenues are closed to the enemies, they have opted for economic and psychological warfare against the Islamic Republic, the IRGC chief commander underlined.

“In today’s world order, one must either be strong and popular or be weak and surrender. We chose the first path,” he said.

According To Iran News, Iran is currently engaged in biological warfare and will definitely win the war, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami said.

“Today, we are involved in biological warfare, but the country is resisting,” Major General Salami said at a military event in Iran’s southeastern city of Kerman on Thursday.

He underlined that the Islamic Republic will never lose a war because it relies upon the power of people and has learned that the Revolution needs to move forward by changing and improving behavioral patterns.

“The enemy is still focusing on economic pressure and psychological operation (against Iran) and uses every opportunity to toughen the conditions for our people. The enemy is seeking to shape the regional developments in its own favor,” the IRGC commander further warned.

Salami also stressed the need to get strong to overcome the difficult situation and defeat the enemies.

In remarks last month, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei stressed the need to build up the country’s military power to prevent a war and counter threats.

Being weak will encourage the enemy to take action against Iran, the Leader warned, adding, “In order for a war not to break out and for threats to finish, one must get strong.”

Iran’s power is so great that all countries know regional problems cannot be resolved without the Islamic Republic power of counter, IRGC commander, General Salami, said, addressing a conference in the southwestern city of Ahvaz on Thursday.

He further pointed to the US hostilities toward the Iranian nation and said, “They have besieged us with economic, industrial, and scientific sanctions to keep us dependent but our nation has resisted with divine guidance…”

“Iran is on the right track and a testimony to our power is that the US blames Iran wherever it faces defeat…,” the IRGC commander said, referring to the US officials’ recent claims that Iran has encouraged the ongoing protests in Iraq decrying US airstrikes against Popular Mobilization Units (also known as Hashd al-Sha’abi).

“We do not interfere in countries’ internal affairs,” he said, adding, “This hatred against the US is pervasive all over the world.”

“We do not lead the country to war, but we are not afraid of any war, and we are telling America to use a proper language in the face of the Iranian nation,” Major General Salami went on to say.

US officials, including President Donald Trump, are trying to accuse Iran of encouraging the protests underway in Iraq decrying US airstrikes against Hashd al-Sha’abi.

On Sunday, US forces conducted drone strikes on a number of Kata’ib Hezbollah bases in Iraq’s western Anbar province, killing at least 28 individuals and leaving another 51 injured.

Kata’ib Hezbollah is part of Hashd al-Sha’abi.

Following the strikes, the Pentagon issued a statement saying that it had targeted three locations of the Iraqi fighters in Iraq and two in Syria in response to alleged attacks targeting American forces.

Angered by the US air raids, Iraqi protesters stormed its embassy compound in the high-security Green Zone in Baghdad on Tuesday, setting fires and chanting: “Death to America!”

They also demanded the removal of American troops from Iraq.

Reacting to the attack, Trump on Tuesday held Iran “fully responsible” for the incident on Twitter and added that the protesters “will be held fully responsible.”

In a separate statement, Trump later also threatened that Tehran would “pay a very big price” after the attack.

On Wednesday, Iran summoned the Swiss charge d’affaires, whose country represents US interests in Iran, to protest “warmongering” remarks by American officials.

According To Iran News, The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) inaugurated more than 2,600 development projects with the aim of alleviating deprivation in villages of the southwestern province of Khuzestan.a

During a visit to Khuzestan on Wednesday, IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami inaugurated 2,640 projects aimed at alleviating deprivation in the province.

These projects include construction and equipping of rural houses, mosques, health centers, and cultural and sports places.

The launch of some other projects aimed at helping to boost employment and resistance economy was also among the objectives of Major General Salam’s visit to Khuzestan.

The IRGC has carried out extensive plans in recent years for the development of border provinces and underprivileged areas, such as in the southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan.

IRGC forces have been also actively involved in rescue and relief operations in natural disasters across Iran.

In November, a senior IRGC commander in the western province of Kurdistan said the IRGC and the Basij (Mobilization) forces are implementing more than 3,500 development projects in deprived areas of the province.

In comments on Thursday, Major General Hossein Salami, IRGC Chief, made it clear that any threat against Iran would emerge as an opportunity.

Iran has gotten used to victory, while the enemy is used to being beaten by the Islamic Republic, the commander said, adding that Tehran is thwarting every plot hatched by the adversaries.

He also stressed that the Islamic Republic has become undefeatable thanks to its steadfast youths.

Iranian officials have repeatedly warned the foes against the consequences of military action on Iran.

Last year, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the US government is aware of the crushing response it will have to face in case of taking military action against Iran, reiterating that the time of hit and run is over.

The US is seeking a way to evade the costs of standing against Iran and place them on regional countries, Ayatollah Khamenei said, reminding certain regional countries that if they confront Iran, “they will definitely suffer blows and defeat.”

Ayatollah Khamenei also noted that the enemies have resorted to economic war after realizing the futility of military action against Iran.

“They have now focused on economic and cultural war, with the US Treasury Department working as the headquarters of the economic war on the Islamic Republic Establishment,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in April 2018.
