 Finland Today reported that Finnish Police have arrested four rioters in relation to Monday attack on Iran’s diplomatic mission in Finland.

On Monday afternoon a protest, arranged by Kurdish-Finns against Iran, got out of hands in Kulosaari near Iran’s Embassy in eastern Helsinki, Finland Today reported.

The police reports that they had received an announcement of a peaceful protest, however, it turns out, it wasn’t. Some rioters stole Iran’s flag from the embassy and burnt it.

Some of the protesters of about 150 threw rocks at a police drone that was keeping an eye on the demonstrators.

In result, police sent more units to the scene. Four people were caught, of whom three are suspected of aggravated disturbing of the peace in related to burning the flag.

One person is suspected of violent resisting of an official in the performance of his duties.

]]>  A Finnish photo contest has honored 2 Iranian photographers with awards.

According to public relations department of FIAP (Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique) center in Iran, the event held in Finland awarded ‘Vision Bronze Medal’ and ‘The Best Friendship photo’ title to Kiarang Alaei, for his photo, named ‘Loyalty’. Meanwhile, the photo ‘Single’ by Hamid Reza Helali won the ‘PSA Honorable Mention.’

The festival was held in Finland by the Finnish Museum of Photography, under the auspices of the FIAP and the Photographic Society of America (PSA) in three different sections. It displayed works by photographers from Iran, who are members of the FIAP center in Iran including Kiarang Alaei, Bahram Yazdanpanah, Hamid Reza Helali, Ahmad Khatieri and Amir Hossein Honarvar.
