<p>This season of the FIBA 3&#215;3 Women&#8217;s Series features a marathon with 20 stops confirmed.</p>
<p>The first stop of the 2024 season was held in Springfield, the US, on April 23-24, marking the first-ever Women’s Series in the United States since the launch of the competition in 2019.</p>
<p>With a total of 20 events throughout this season and over 1.4 million USD in prize, the Women&#8217;s Series is set to reach unprecedented heights.</p>
<p>Hangzhou, the capital of China’s Zhejiang province, will host the FIBA 3&#215;3 Women’s Series Final on September 7-8, 2024.</p>

<p>TEHRAN (<a href="https://www.irannewsdaily.com/">Iran News</a>) –Thon Maker came back after missing Game 2 due to an injury and proved to be the difference anew, scoring 10 of his 23 points in the second quarter alone to lead the breakaway. He also collected 12 rebounds and 4 blocks to win his first title in the pan-regional tilt.</p>
<p>Elmedin Kikanovic also finished with 23 points alongside 5 rebounds as the veteran center helped the Lebanese powerhouse set the tone early in the first quarter.</p>
<p>Amir Saoud produced 17 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 rebounds. The starting backcourt tandem of Wael Arakji and Jonathon Simmons, meanwhile, delivered 12 points apiece.</p>
<p>Al Riyadi and Shahrdari, which were also the protagonists of the inaugural West Asia Final, will represent the Sub-Zone League along with third-placer Sagesse in the FIBA WASL Final 8.</p>

<p>Nisre Zouzoua led Ivory Coast with 17 points and 4 rebounds.</p>
<p>Iran’s Behnam Yakhchali had 19 points and 5 rebounds.</p>
<p>“After the last game against Brazil our response was very important. I think we did it in the best way. We started the game very well and had the lead for most of the game,” Iran guard Yakhchali said.</p>
<p>“They made better decisions in the last minute of the game and won. I&#8217;m proud of my team, my teammates and the coaching staff,” he added.</p>
<p>“We fought until the end and have to keep on going like this,”<strong> Yakhchali concluded. </strong></p>
<p>Team Melli had lost to Brazil 100-59 in their opening match in Group G.</p>
<p>Iran will play world No. 1 Spain on Wednesday.</p>

<p>Samad Nikkhah Bahrami scored 16 points for Iran at the Prince Hamza Hall in Amman, Jordan, while Qatar’s Meho Haracic had a match-high 17 points.</p>
<p>Iran advanced to the top with nine points.</p>
<p>Mehran Shahintab’s men will play Saudi Arabia on Monday.</p>
<p>There are 24 teams competing in the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers. Once the three windows of the Qualifiers conclude, the top two teams in each group will qualify directly to Asia Cup 2021. The six last-placed teams in each group are eliminated.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the six third-placed teams in each group will then play in a separate qualifying tournament. Teams will be placed into two different groups of three teams. The top two teams of those respective groups will then lock in their spots at Asia Cup 2021, completing the 16-team roster who will also compete in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers.</p>

<p>Accordingly, 16 teams will compete here in Tehran from March 23 to April 2 at Azadi Sports Complex for the Asian title.</p>
<p>The competition is also a qualification for FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup which is going to be held in Bulgaria. Four first teams of the Asian event will book their ticket to the world event.</p>
<p>FIBA U16 Asian Championship is a biennial event that started in 2009. Iran’s best result in the event is the third place gained in 2009. In the final edition in 2018, Iran finished seventh.</p>
<p>Iran has never qualified for FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup which has been held in five biennial editions from 2010 to 2018.</p>
<p>The FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship is an under-16 basketball championship in the International Basketball Federation&#8217;s FIBA Asia zone. The event started in 2009 and is held bi-annually. The top placed teams compete in the FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup, which started in 2010.</p>

<p>Palayesh Naft Abadan of Iran finished in third place in the 2019 FIBA Asia Champions Cup on Sunday.</p>
<p>Alvark Tokyo will meet Al Riyadi Beirut of Lebanon in the final match.</p>
<p>The 2019 <a href="https://irannewsdaily.com/tag/fiba/">FIBA</a> Asia Champions Cup is the 28th staging of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, the international basketball club tournament of FIBA Asia.</p>
<p>The competition is being held in Thailand from September 24 to 29.</p>
<p>Alvark Tokyo displayed their determination to avenge last year&#8217;s loss to beat Al Riyadi 98-74 and claim their first ever FIBA Asia Champions Cup title.</p>
<p>The two-time B. League champions had lost in Final of the 2018 edition of the competition and came back stronger and focused to win it all this time. The title is the first ever by a Japanese Club in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup.</p>
<p>Alvark’s Alex Kirk had 18 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks in the win and was named the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2019 MVP. He is joined by Daiki Tanaka, Wael Arakji, Hamed Haddadi(Iran&#8217;s Naft Abadan), and Kevin Murphy.</p>
