According To Iran News, The Iranian Embassy in Amman held a panel discussion in commemoration of the International Quds Day, attended by a number of pro-Palestine activists.

The panel discussion, entitled “Quds Day in Shadow of Deal of the Century”, was held at the Iranian Embassy in Jordan on Thursday.

The meeting, held ahead of the International Quds Day, was attended by two Palestinian figures, namely Leila Khaled and Farouk al-Ezzah, and by former Jordanian lawmaker Hamada Yousef al-Faraneh.

In the panel discussion, Ms. Khaled said the new Palestinian generations have not forgotten the memories of their motherland contrary to what the founders of the Zionist regime had expected.

Ezzah also noted that negotiations over Palestine have been always doomed to failure, stressing that the only remaining option is resistance after the failure of all political methods.

Elsewhere in the gathering, Faraneh denounced the deal of the century as the result of several regional developments, including the weakness and disunity among the Palestinian groups, the wars in the Arab world, as in Syria, Iraq and Libya, and the crisis in the ties between Iran and the Persian Gulf countries.

The Iranian Embassy holds annual meetings in commemoration of the International Quds Day, which falls on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

All the world knows that all these years that the illegitimate, fake regime of Israel has committed all kinds of war crimes, violated human rights, and imposed discrimination with the support of big powers, especially the US, the statement added.

This year we will commemorate the day in a condition that the martyrdom of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani by the US terrorist forces makes it more necessary to fight with the US-Israeli plot of the ‘Deal of the Century’ and the Zionists’ attempts to annex more Palestinian lands, the statement continued.

TEHRAN – Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Wednesday denounced as “satanic” a U.S. plan for solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and predicted that Muslim nations will undoubtedly prevent the proposal from being put into practice.

U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled his long-awaited peace plan at the White House on Tuesday.

“To the dismay of U.S. politicians, the satanic, evil U.S. policy about Palestine — the so-called Deal Of The Century— will never bear fruit, by the grace of God,” Ayatollah Khamenei wrote on his official Twitter account.

“About the Jewishization of al-Quds and saying it should be in the hands of the Jews, they’re talking foolishly and unwisely,” he said, using an Arabic name for Jerusalem.

“The issue of Palestine will never be forgotten,” the Leader continued. “The Palestinian nation and all Muslim nations will definitely stand up to them and not allow the so-called Deal Of The Century to be realized.”

The plan grants Israel much of what it has sought in decades of international diplomacy, namely control over Jerusalem as its “undivided” capital, rather than a city to share with the Palestinians. The plan also lets Israel annex West Bank settlements.

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri has called on the Islamic nations to join hands and raise their voices against a “cruel” plan that the U.S. president has unveiled for Palestine, known as deal of the century.

Major General Baqeri has sent separate messages to the defense ministers and the Army commanders of the Muslim countries following U.S. President Donald Trump’s move to unveil a new plan for the Middle East and the Palestinian territories.

In the letter, the top Iranian commander has warned against the dire consequences of silence and inaction concerning the cruel U.S. plan, known as deal of the century.

Major General Baqeri has also called on the Islamic nations to close ranks, set aside their differences by centering around Islam, and work in cooperation to support the Islamic resistance, according to IRNA.

The senior Iranian commander has finally urged the Islamic countries to make a concerted effort to expel the “usurpers and occupiers of the Islamic territories” and to take action against the U.S. president’s move, which he said has defied logic and has violated the international law and regulations.

President Hassan Rouhani has also condemned U.S. President Donald Trump’s so-called ‘peace plan’ for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as ‘the most despicable plan of the century.’

Meanwhile Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also rejected the Trump proposal, saying, “The plan to give Jerusalem to Israel is absolutely unacceptable.”

“This conspiracy deal will not pass. Our people will take it to the dustbin of history,” Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Tuesday.

As part of the plan, future Palestinian statehood would be based on a series of strict conditions — including requiring the future state to be “demilitarized.”

The plan also lets Israel annex West Bank settlements and would also end hopes for a so-called “right of return.” Palestinians who fled or were forced out when the Jewish state was created in 1948, and their millions of descendants, would no longer have a case to go back.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who stood alongside Trump in the White House as the US leader presented the plan, immediately declared his support for the scheme.

According To Iran News, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani called on the parliaments of Muslim countries to stand against the US-proposed “fake” deal of the century by endorsing a plan for a referendum on the issue of Palestine.

Larijani on Wednesday sent letters to his counterparts in the Muslim countries to condemn the so-called deal of the century that US President Donald Trump has unveiled in Washington.

The Iranian speaker said the American plan for the Middle East has violated the whole international agreements, laws and resolutions, the UN Charter, and the resolutions passed by the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for the settlement of the Palestinian crisis.

Describing the issue of Palestine as the Islamic world’s top priority, Larijani said the Muslim nations will oppose any violation of Palestine’s sovereignty, stand against the continued occupation of Palestine whose capital is al-Quds, and will reject any one-sided plan imposed on the Palestinians.

“Without referring to the international organizations, such as the United Nations, or consultation with the Palestinian sides, the US president is trying to portray the occupation of a land of the Islamic Ummah as being official only on the basis of the personal, partisan and Zionist interests and by resorting to force,” the Iranian speaker deplored, saying Trump has confiscated the inalienable rights of Palestinians in favor of a Zionist group.

“By registering a democratic and political plan at the UN for holding a referendum in the occupied territories with the participation of its main inhabitants, the Islamic Republic of Iran holds that the way out of the current crisis and the fair resolution of the issue of Palestine is the right of the oppressed and defenseless Palestinian nation,” the speaker noted.

Larijani finally called on the parliament speakers of the Muslim countries to join hands to confront the “fake” deal of the century, support the plan for a referendum, and employ the parliamentary diplomacy capacities to help resolve the Palestinian crisis.

On Tuesday night, US President Donald Trump unveiled his long-delayed Middle East plan, a proposal Palestinian leaders called a “conspiracy” that “will not pass”.

Following Trump’s announcement, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said “a thousand no’s” to the plan.

Trump repeated his highly controversial endorsement of occupied Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s “undivided capital” as he outlined his administration’s self-styled plan for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which Palestinians have already dismissed.

He endorsed his contentious recognition in December 2017 of Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s “capital,” a move he took in the face of Palestinian demands that the holy city should serve as the capital of their future state. He said the plan envisages the city as the Israeli regime’s “undivided capital.”

The so-called peace plan is widely expected to take the US’s pro-Israeli brinksmanship to a whole new level, with various reports warning that it seeks to lay the groundwork for Israel’s annexation of about half of the West Bank, which the regime occupied in 1967, including most of the Jordan Valley.

Thousands of Palestinians protested in Gaza, and people across the West Bank and Jerusalem voiced their objection and anger over the contentious plan.

President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas: Palestine is not for sale

“I say to Trump and Netanyahu: Jerusalem is not for sale, all our rights are not for sale and are not for bargain. And your deal, the conspiracy, will not pass,” Abbas said in a televised address in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, PressTV reported.

The Palestinian president also warned that the people of Palestine would never accept Trump’s proposal, saying, “What should I wait for? If Jerusalem is not part of it (a Palestinian state) will we accept a State without Jerusalem? It is impossible for any Palestinian, Muslim or Christian child to accept this. Therefore, we told them from the beginning, No!”

Hamas vows to confront Trump’s aggressive proposal

Hamas said it would confront Trump’s “aggressive” proposals and accused him of talking “nonsense” about Jerusalem al-Quds.

“This is our land and this is our capital, we will not accept any alternative, we will not accept only part of it nor part out of it. Jerusalem is Palestine’s capital and we don’t care about Trump. Jerusalem will stay ours with all its churches, al-Aqsa mosque and all the sacred sites,” said Khalil al-Hayya, a senior member of the Hamas political bureau.

Hezbollah slams the plan as ‘deal of shame’

In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office “denounces and firmly rejects the Deal of Shame launched by the brutal administration of Trump at the expense of the Palestinian people, their land, holy sites and legitimate right,” Almanar reported.

“The deal is a very dangerous step that will have grave repercussions on the future of the region and its people,” Hezbollah noted, adding, “The US administration’s aggression (against Palestinian people) has reached its peak today. After decades of backing the enemy, its occupation, violations and massacres against Arab people, this satanic administration is attempting to quell the historic and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.”

The announcement of the deal proves that the choice of resistance is the only one to liberate the land and regain the holy sites, Hezbollah said, stressing that all paths of negotiations can’t do so, “but even, they make the enemy ruder and more aggressive.”

Russia calls for joining of Middle East Quartet to discussions on the deal

The Middle East Quartet must join the discussions of the so-called ‘deal of the century’, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference in Moscow on Tuesday, Sputnik reported. The foreign minister was referring to a group of four entities, namely the United Nations, the US, the EU and Russia, who are involved in mediating the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

“Undoubtedly, I would like such a plan to be analysed by the quartet of international mediators – a mechanism that has rarely been implemented in recent years”, the minister said.

Lavrov stated that if such a deal indeed exists, the Palestinian stance should also be taken into account, adding that Russia has not familiarised itself with this initiative.

“We need to wait for the official release of the text of this agreement which will hopefully be made public”, Lavrov said.

Meanwhile, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin would not comment on the deal before learning its substance.

Turkey condemns ‘stillborn’ deal

“This is an annexation plan aiming at usurping Palestinian lands and killing two-state solution,” Turkey’s Foreign Ministry noted in a statement, adding that Palestinian people and lands cannot be purchased.

Stressing that Jerusalem was a red line in the eyes of Turkey, the statement said Ankara would not let Israel justify its occupation and persecution. “We will always stand by the brotherly people of Palestine. We will continue to work for an independent Palestine within Palestinian lands.”

The statement concluded that Turkey would not support any plan that is not accepted by the Palestinian authorities, adding that peace in the Middle East would not be obtained if policies based on occupation did not end.

“The leadership will hold a series of meetings on all levels — including the factions and organizations — to announce its total rejection of conceding al-Quds,” he added.

The spokesman also called on the Arab world to support the Palestinian stance, warning that Trump’s plan would trigger turmoil in the region.

A Palestinian official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Monday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas had rejected repeated requests from Trump to talk to him on the phone.

Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of the Hamas resistance movement, also stressed that the deal is doomed to fail, warning of a “new phase” in the Palestinian struggle against the occupying regime.

“We firmly declare that the ‘deal of the century’ will not pass. The new plot aimed against Palestine is bound to fail,” and could lead the Palestinians to a “new phase in their struggle” against Israel, Haniyeh said in a statement on Sunday.

Haniyeh also called for a meeting in the Egyptian capital with other Palestinian factions, including the Fatah movement, in order to form a common response to Trump’s plan.

Palestinian factions call for ‘day of rage’

Palestinian factions on Sunday called for a “day of rage” in response to the controversial plan.

Trump is expected to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his main political rival Benny Gantz at the White House on January 28 to unveil the so-called deal of the century.

Even though the full plan has not been released, Israeli media outlets have described it as a deal that meets nearly all of Tel Aviv’s demands in exchange for the possibility of recognizing a Palestinian state someday.

According to the English-language online newspaper Times of Israel, the deal drastically undermines Palestinian hopes for restoring land.

Palestinian factions, in a statement signed by the National and Islamic Forces in Ramallah and El-Bireh, said the day Trump’s plan is announced should be declared as a “day of popular rage.”

They have also called for a boycott of American goods.

The Palestinian Authority has warned that Trump’s deal would ignite mass protests in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Officials have also hinted that the Palestinian leadership may quit all agreements signed with Israel and suspend “security coordination” between the Palestinians and Israel in the West Bank.

Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Saeb Erekat said Sunday that the Palestinians would withdraw from key provisions of the Oslo Accords in case Trump unveiled his initiative.

The initiative, he said, would turn Israel’s “temporary occupation (of Palestinian territories) into a permanent occupation.”

‘Plot of the century’

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry described the US plan as “the plot of the century,” stressing that it aims to “liquidate the Palestinian cause.”

Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki said the Palestinians were discussing “practical steps with the Arab brothers” to respond to the US plan.

Jordanian king reiterates opposition to Trump plan

The planned release has met unease in the Arab world, with Jordan’s King Abdullah II reiterating his opposition to the deal.

“Our position regarding the plan is very clear: we are opposed to it,” Abdullah said during a conference in the southern Jordanian city of Aqaba on Sunday.

Jordan and Egypt are the only two Arab states that have diplomatic ties with Israel.

Amman is vexed at Netanyahu’s repeated threats to annex the Jordan Valley.

Greenblatt may stay in the role until the publication of the long-delayed plan, which is now due to come out some time after Israeli elections on 17 September, reports say.

He has been one of the main designers of the Deal of the Century, about who Trump wrote “Jason Greenblatt, the official in charge of President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace plan, is departing the White House,” on Thursday.

“After almost 3 years in my Administration, Jason Greenblatt will be leaving to pursue work in the private sector. Jason has been a loyal and great friend and fantastic lawyer,” the US President wrote in a series of posts on Twitter.

Fatah, formerly the Palestinian National Liberation Movement, has also reacted to the American official’s resignation. Calling it ‘admission of failure’ for the White House’s much-delayed Israeli-Palestinian peace plan.

Some political analysts believe that his resignation will be a heavy blow to the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, since he was hopeful to benefit some advantages from the implementation of the American plan.

The ‘Deal of the Century’ is an American plan in which Jerusalem and the occupied districts of the West Bank where Zionist settlements are built will be completely delivered to the occupying regime and the Palestinians will be abandoned from returning to their lands. The plan also includes preventing the Palestinians from their right to return to their homeland, which is recognized legal by UN Security Council Resolution 4.

For no doub,t Greenblatt’s resignation is related to the failure of the ‘Deal of the Century’ and implementation of it because of the existing disputes about its sections which are fully in favor of the Zionist regime.

In fact, the plan was still born from the beginning and had not the capacity to be implemented despite the US efforts, supports and propaganda.

Weak participation of the deal’s parties besides Palestinian groups and movements attending the workshop held in Manama, Bahrain, on June 25–26, 2019 is another proof for the lack of the practicality and efficiency of the American plan.

Greenblatt’s resignation could also be a result of disputes between the US government and Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions before the Knesset election to re-attach part of the West Bank to the occupied territories to ensure his election victory.

The United States and its regional allies, especially Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, initially tried their best to  persuade Palestinians and some other countries, such as Jordan, which play an important role in ‘Deal of Century’, via making some promises to them or bribe them but could not succeed due to the large disagreements with the plan and its anti-Palestinian notions.

By the present time, Palestinian groups besides many Islamic countries, including Iran, have opposed the plan repeatedly stating that’ the Deal of the Century’ will never be implemented.

In any case, Greenblatt seems to be the first victim of this plan’s inefficiency, and in near future will come the resignation of other US and Zionist officials. Although it cannot be said that the plan has been completely eliminated and destroyed but resignation of one of its most prominent engineers indicates the existence of internal disputes within the US government about it.

It seems that the plan will never be implemented.

The Trump peace plan, also known as the Deal of the century, is an American peace proposal intended to resolve the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. The plan was authored by a team led by Senior Advisor to the President of the United States Jared Kushner.

The plan is divided into two parts, an economic portion and a political portion. On June 22, 2019, the Trump administration released the economic portion of the plan, titled “Peace to Prosperity”, containing two pamphlets of 40 and 96 pages each that are filled with financial tables and economic projections. The political portion is yet to be released.

Development of the plan began in November 2017, led by Jared Kushner, chief negotiator Jason Greenblatt, deputy national security adviser Dina Powell, and ambassador David Friedman.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace be upon his exalted, trustworthy messenger, Muhammad the last of the prophets, and his pure progeny, especially the one remaining with Allah on earth, and on his chosen companions and those who faithfully followed them, until the day of judgment.

Every year, the time of Hajj is the resort for the Islamic Ummah where they receive the Lord’s mercy. Quran’s call of “And proclaim Hajj among men” [Quran 22:27] is a call to everyone throughout history to come to this distribution of mercy, so that their God-seeking hearts and souls, and their thoughts and views benefit from its advantages; and every year, the lessons and teachings of Hajj propagate throughout the Muslim world by congregations of people.

The Hajj presents a miniature scale of a set of fundamental pillars of the Islamic society by placing the elixir of Dhikr and servitude—which is the main element for the cultivation, progress, and growth of individuals and the society— next to congregation and unity, which are the symbols of the unified Ummah; the movement around a unique center, and on the path towards a common goal—which are the keys to the endeavor and livelihood of the Ummah based on monotheism—;and through harmony among every Hajj pilgrim, where there is no distinction—which is the sign of removing discrimination and providing everyone with the same opportunity. Every one of the rituals of Hajj including Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, wuquf, ramy, movement, and repose, is a symbolic reminder of a part of the picture presented by Islam of its ideal society.

Exchange of knowledge and assets between people of different countries and places far apart, and spreading awareness and experience, asking for the news of one another, removing barriers of misunderstanding, bringing the hearts closer, and storing strength to confront common enemies are the vital and magnificent outcomes of Hajj, which otherwise would not be achieved through hundreds of the usual and typical gatherings.

The ritual of Bara’ah which means refusing every instance of mercilessness, cruelty, wrongdoing and corruption of the tyrants of any time, and rising against intimidation and unjust levy by the arrogant throughout history, is one of the great advantages of Hajj, and an opportunity for oppressed Muslim nations. Today, repudiating the front of shirk [polytheism] and kufr [disbelief] made up of the arrogant powers—the foremost of them being the U.S.—equals refusing the killing of the oppressed, and waging wars. It equals condemning the sources of terrorism, including ISIS and the American Black Water. It is the Islamic Ummah’s shout at the child killers of the Zionist regime, and their backers and cohorts. It is a condemnation of the United States and their associates’ warmongering, in the sensitive regions of West Asia and North Africa, who have pushed the nations’ pain and suffering beyond limits and who bring them new catastrophes every day. It means refusing racism, and discrimination based on geography, race, and color of skin. It means refusing the arrogant and vicious behavior of aggressive and seditious powers against dignified, noble and just behavior recommended to everyone by Islam.

These are some of the benedictions of the Abrahamic Hajj that pure Islam calls us to. And this is the incarnation of an important part of the ideals of the Islamic society that every year, through every one of the participating Muslims, and directed by Hajj, puts on a grand and rich spectacle, calling everyone through a clear language, to try to create such a society.

The elite of the Muslim world, some of whom are now present at Hajj from different countries, have a crucial and important duty. These lessons must be transferred to all nations and the public through their efforts and ingenuity, and moral exchange of ideas, motivations, experience, and knowledge must be realized by them.

Today, one of the most important issues of the Muslim world is Palestine, which is at the top of Muslims’ political issues, regardless of their school of thought, race, and language. The greatest injustice in recent history has happened in Palestine. In this painful affair, all that a nation had—their land, homes, farms, belongings, dignity, and identity—was confiscated. With God’s assistance, this nation has not surrendered to defeat and has not given up, and today, they are on the battlefields more enthusiastic, and braver than yesterday. But the ultimate outcome requires assistance from all Muslims. The ploy of Deal of the Century prepared by the oppressive US, and its treasonous cohorts, is a crime against human society, and not just the Palestinian nation. We are inviting everyone to active participation in overcoming this deception by the enemy, and with the power and help of God, we consider this and every other ruse by the arrogant front doomed to failure against the efforts, and faith of the Resistance front.

Almighty Allah said: “Or do they intend a plot? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot!” [Quran 52:42]. True is what Almighty Allah said. I supplicate Almighty God for success, blessing, comfort, and acceptance of prayers for every one of you respected pilgrims.

The deal has been designed based on Trump’s business outlook to everything and seeks to solve the issue by luring in the Palestinians with offering economic rewards. In fact, the deal has regarded one of the most important issues in the world as a commodity that can be traded and has paid no attention to the humanitarian side of the problem and coming up with a just solution that respects the rights of all people involved in the issue.

The future prospect of the Deal of the Century

According to the Deal of the Century, the Palestinians will be settled only in Gaza Strip and some parts of the West Bank. The deal will cancel the return of displaced Palestinians who currently live in other countries (mostly Arab countries like Lebanon and Jordan) to their homeland and they have to remain in their residing country. The plan also envisages assigning $10 billion for development of the remnants of Palestine by building industrial towns, new cities, airports, and ports in the Gaza Strip.

The deal doesn’t move Israelis out of the Palestinian lands they invaded in 1976, including the West Bank and the area around Al-Quds. In this deal, U.S. has offered Abu Dis village, in the east of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), as the new capital of Palestine. In return, Israel would retreat from three to five Palestinian villages around Al-Quds that were occupied by the Zionist usurper regime in 1976.

However, the old part of Al-Quds will remain under the sovereignty of Israel.

According to Amos Harel, the journalist of an Israeli news agency, Haaretz, the Deal does not give any suggestions for retreatment of Israelis from their current residential areas including the settlements in Ariel, southern Nablus, Gush Etzion (near Bethlehem) and Ma’ale Adumim.

Trump’s plan is a shrunk Palestine that has no army or weapons to defend itself.

The essence of the Deal of the Century is not negotiation; conversely, it aims to force the terms and conditions of the Zionist regime and the U.S. on the Palestinians. It is not a mutual deal, but a one-sided one, so it cannot be regarded as an offer for reconciliation.

Over the past year, everything Washington did about the Palestine issue were unilateral actions that led to the Deal of the Century. These actions included recognition of Al-Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime, transferring American embassy from Tel Aviv to Al-Quds, closing the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), stopping the usage of the word “refugee” for displaced Palestinians and trying to settle them down in other Arab countries.

Possible future scenarios of the Deal of the Century 

1.    The failure of the deal

According to this scenario, the deal will fail. As described above, the Deal of the Century is a completely pro-Israel deal, so any of the Palestinian groups, even the ones who are in favor of reconciliation will not accept this deal.

If the Palestinians resist the deal, they can derail it. Over the last 70 of Israel-Palestine conflict, tens of similar plans for reconciliation were thwarted. On the other hand, it is unlikely that Arab countries pressure Palestine to accept the deal as the current trend is against the deal.

2.    Carrying out the deal after making concessions to Palestine and Arab countries

In this scenario, the Americans and the Israelis will stop dictating their demands on Palestine and will suspend their interference in Palestine’s core issues such as the fate of Al-Quds, the Palestinian refugees and the ownership of lands.

This will definitely be a victory for the Palestinians and Arab countries, as a new deal with new terms will be derived out of the previous deal.

For example, Israel may become less strict over Palestine ruling over the West Bank and Palestine may gain more control over the eastern areas of the Al-Quds. Some older parts of Al-Quds can be jointly run by Palestine and Israel.

Also, Tel Aviv may stop building new residential areas over the West Bank and stop expanding the current settlements.

It will also be agreed that a Palestinian government will be established over a short time-frame and some rules will be revised including the ones about Palestine’s sovereignty over some lands and its economic independence. The siege of the Gaza Strip will stop, new ports and airports will be built and a safe route will be established between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

According to this scenario, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas will hand over the control of the Gaza Strip to Palestinian National Authority in Ramallah and a proper environment will be established for resuming the reconciliation process.

3.    The success of the Deal of the Century according to the terms and conditions forced by the U.S. and the Zionist regime.

According to this scenario, U.S. will threaten the Arab countries to stop helping them in dealing with their regional conflicts and even in dealing with their own nations. Also, Washington will threaten Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestinian National Authority with getting him removed and replacing him with someone who would agree to their all terms and conditions.

Considering all the above options, it seems that the first scenario is more likely to happen as all Palestinian groups are against the deal and the resistant Palestinian groups are in full power; also, many Arab countries are against the deal and the U.S. itself is not confident about its foreign policies in the Middle East.

There are other reasons to assume that the Deal of the Century will fail. the operation of the deal has been long delayed; furthermore, over this time, many demonstrations and groups have showed their opposition to the deal, an example is the “return demonstrations” that have been held every week over the Gaza Strip over the past year.

Despite all the oppositions in thwarting the Deal of the Century, stopping the deal still needs more effort, some strategies are suggested here.

Strategies to stop the Deal of the Century

•    Developing Palestinians’ national unity and concentrating all their powers in order to thwart the deal.

•    Writing a declaration that will bind all Palestinians to commit to upholding the principles and goals of the Palestinian nation and rejects any treaty that would violate their rights, including the Deal of the Century.

•    Saving the Palestine National Reconciliation Agreement which was signed in 2011 and Beirut Agreement which was signed in 2017. Plus running Palestine National Council in order to revive the Palestinian National Authority and Palestine Liberation Organization in order to join all forces to serve Palestine’s national interests.

•    Quick removal of the sanctions imposed by Mahmoud Abbas on Gaza Strip.

•    Inviting all Palestinians to unite under a single leadership, so that they can use all their powers to defend the rights of the Palestinians until Palestine Liberation Organization is reconstructed.

•    Encouraging public-based organizations, groups, and societies inside and outside of Palestine.

•    Stopping any kind of military and security cooperation with Israeli usurpers.

•    Increasing people’s freedom in the areas under the control of the Palestinian National Authority in order to maintain the dignity of Palestinian residents and use their unified will for making political, social and military progress.
