										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TEHRAN (<a href="https://www.irannewsdaily.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Iran News</a>) – More than 5,000 new coronavirus cases have been detected in Iran during the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry’s spokeswoman said.</p>

<p>Speaking at a daily press conference on Tuesday, Sima Sadat Lari said the total number of people tested positive for COVID-19 in Iran has risen to 539,670 following the detection of 5,039 new cases since Monday.</p>
<p>Of the new cases detected since yesterday, 2,254 patients have been admitted to the hospital, she added.</p>
<p>Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 4,810 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions because of more severe infection, Lari noted.</p>
<p>She further put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 31,034, saying the disease has taken the lives of 322 patients over the past 24 hours.</p>
<p>At least 434,676 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman said.</p>
<p>Lari also noted that more than 4,570,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.</p>
<p>The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 40 million and the death toll has exceeded 1,120,000.</p>

<p>Sima Sadat Lari said at a daily press conference that 337 coronavirus patients have died across the country since Sunday, the highest single-day toll since the viral disease broke out in February.</p>
<p>She put the total death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 30,712.</p>
<p>The spokeswoman also noted that the total number of people tested positive for COVID-19 in the country has reached 534,631 after the detection of 4,251 new cases since yesterday.</p>
<p>More than 431,000 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman said.</p>
<p>Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 4,771 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions because of more severe infection, Lari noted.</p>
<p>According to Lari, nearly 4,540,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.</p>
<p>The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 40.3 million and the death toll has exceeded 1,110,000.</p>

<p>Sima Sadat Lari on Thursday said the total number of people tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the country has risen to 517,835 with the detection of 4,616 new cases since Wednesday noon.</p>
<p>With 256 deaths from the disease over the past 24 hours, the total death toll from COVID-19 reached 29,605, she added.</p>
<p>More than 418,000 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman added.</p>
<p>She also noted that so far, more over 4.4 million coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran.</p>
<p>The novel coronavirus has infected more than 38 million people around the world and the death toll from the disease is about to reach 1.1 million.</p>

<p>Iran’s Health Ministry Spokesperson Sima Lari made the announcement on Wednesday, saying that the number of total coronavirus cases in the country has so far reached 513,219 with the death toll standing at 29,349.</p>
<p>According to Lari, 4,609 patients are in critical condition while 414,831 patients have recovered.</p>
<p>So far, 4,398,723 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases, she added.</p>
<p>According to the latest figures, more than 38,4 million people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing at 1,092,040 and recoveries amounting to 28,887,167.</p>

<p>Of the new cases detected since yesterday, 1,949 patients have been admitted to the hospital, she added.</p>
<p>At least 411,840 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman added.</p>
<p>She further put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 29,070, saying the disease has taken the lives of 254 patients over the past 24 hours.</p>
<p>Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 4,570 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions because of more severe infection, Lari noted.</p>
<p>The spokeswoman also said more than 4,369,600 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.</p>
<p>The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 38 million and the death toll has exceeded 1,080,000.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TEHRAN (<a href="https://www.irannewsdaily.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Iran News</a>) – More than 3,800 new coronavirus patients have been detected in Iran during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infected cases close to 500,000, the Health Ministry’s spokeswoman said.</p>

<p>Speaking at a daily press conference on Saturday, Sima Sadat Lari said the total number of people tested positive for COVID-19 in Iran has risen to 496,253 following the detection of 3,875 new cases since Friday.</p>
<p>Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 4,439 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions because of more severe infection, she noted.</p>
<p>She further put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 28,293, saying the disease has taken the lives of 195 patients over the past 24 hours.</p>
<p>Nearly 404,000 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman said.</p>
<p>The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 37 million and the death toll has exceeded 1,070,000.</p>

<p>Speaking at a daily press conference, Health Ministry’s Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said 239 coronavirus patients have died across the country over the past 24 hours, the highest single-day toll since the viral disease broke out in February.</p>
<p>She put the total death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 27,658.</p>
<p>The spokeswoman also noted that the total number of people tested positive for COVID-19 in the country has risen to 483,844 following the detection of 4,019 new cases since yesterday.</p>
<p>More than 397,000 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman said.</p>
<p>Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 4,274 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions because of more severe infection, Lari noted.</p>
<p>The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 36 million and the death toll has exceeded 1,050,000.</p>

<p>Speaking at a daily press conference on Tuesday, Sima Sadat Lari said the total number of people tested positive for coronavirus in Iran has risen to 479,825 after the detection of 4,151 new cases since Monday.</p>
<p>Of the new cases detected since yesterday, 2,127 patients have been admitted to the hospital, she added.</p>
<p>Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 4,200 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions because of more severe infection, Lari noted.</p>
<p>She further put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 27,419, saying the disease has taken the lives of 227 patients over the past 24 hours.</p>
<p>At least 394,800 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman said.</p>
<p>Lari also noted that nearly 4,180,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.</p>
<p>The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 35 million and the death toll has exceeded 1,050,000.</p>
