Noting that the deficiencies emanate from inefficient use of the capacities, the official said as long as the potentials of the Constitution are not fully tapped, making amendments will not change anything.

He pointed to the ongoing pressures of the US against the Iranian nation and said that currently, changing the constitution is not a priority for the country since all efforts should be aimed at dealing with the US hostile policies.

The exhibit has been organized to celebrate the 112th anniversary of the revolution, the organizers announced on Saturday.

Documents about the ideology of the revolution, constitutional law, and the role of newspapers in the historical event will be showcased at the exhibition.

The exhibit will display photos from the treasury of the Saheb Qaraneih Palace depicting Qajar king Mozaffar ad-Din Shah as he was signing the Constitutional Decree.

Private collectors Mehdi Tamizi and Kamran Najafzadeh have also loaned photos from the revolution to the show.

Five books on the Constitutional Revolution from the Niavaran Royal Library will be introduced during the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

An exhibition that puts a collection of news satire on the Constitutional Revolution on display will also be held on the sidelines of the showcase, which will run until August 12.

The exhibition has been organized in collaboration with the Majlis Library Museum and Documentation Center and several other organizations.

The revolutionary campaign to force the central government to establish democratic reforms began in 1905 and on August 6, 1906, the Constitutional Decree was signed by Mozaffar ad-Din Shah in the Saheb Qaraneih Palace.
