In the match, held at the Milly Stadium in Tashkent, the Iranian team lost to host 2-1 in a controversial match.

Uzbekistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan play together in a round robin format and the team with the highest point will win the title.

Iran is second in the table after Uzbekistan with a 6-0 win over Afghanistan and a 2-1 loss to Uzbekistan.

The competition is being held under the auspices of the Central Asian Football Confederation in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
