“The plane which had been out of service for years was overhauled by the skilled experts of Shahid Doran airbase,” Fars quoted Brigadier General Mansour Mohammadi as saying.

Mohammadi added that the overhaul operations on the plane were conducted using the existing equipment and fully indigenized possibilities.

In recent years, the Iranian Air Force has shown remarkable capabilities in building parts and equipment and overhauling different types of planes and helicopters.
