TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iran’s Islamic Azad University (IAU) will cooperate with German universities to train professional engineers.

Heading a delegation of IAU’s official, Vice President of Islamic Azad University Bijan Ranjbar traveled to Germany.  He is going to visit German universities.

Iran’s IAU has signed MoU with the University of Cologne, technical university Ilmenau, University of Erfurt, and Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The agreement is on scientific cooperation, as well as educating professional engineers.

Germany has a long-standing and successful experience in training engineers at its universities.

Azad University defeated Namino Isfahan 58-54 in the final match at the Payambar-e Azam Hall in Tehran.

“Our goal was winning the title from the very first day. I am very pleased and I would like to thank my players for doing their best to win the title,” Azad University coach Azadeh Zamanpour said.

“Azad University deserved to win the title because we trained hard to claim the title. Our team take advantage of young and motivated players and we can win more trophies in the future,” she added.
