Noshad Alamiyan also won a gold medal in the men’s singles. He defeated Japan’s Hiromu Kobayashi in Round of 64, then defeated Italian Daniele Pinto 3-0 in Round of 32.

Noshad Alamiyan beat his countryman Benyamin Faraji 3-0 in Round of 16 and defeated French player Joe Seyfried 3-0 in quarterfinal. Noshad then beat Moldovan Vladislav Ursu 3-2 in the semifinals.”Alamiyan Brothers”

In the final match, he defeated his Indian rival Harmeet Desai 3-2 (11-9, 6-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-8).
