]]> TEHRAN (Iran News) – The Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) has sent necessary documents to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the process of Iran’s bid to host the 2027 Asian Cup competitions.

Iran Football Federation has delivered its bid in 75 pages to AFC to host Asia’s crown jewel, IRNA reported on Friday.

Four other AFC Member Associations that have also indicated their intentions to host the 2027 Asian Cup included the All India Football Federation, the Qatar Football Association’s (QFA), Saudi Arabian Football Federation and Uzbekistan Football Association. All of them submitted their expressions of interest by the June 30, 2020 deadline.

The AFC will announce the host for the 19th edition of the AFC Asian Cup in 2021.
