TEHRAN (Iran News) –Iran’s Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology Peyman Salehi has introduced a program to facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge among the members of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran, suggests that a program entitled, ‘Science Road’ be defined and initiated by UNESCO to facilitate the free exchange of ideas and knowledge.”

UNESCO may declare its preparation to make use of all its historical and contemporary potential in this respect, the official said in an address to UNESCO’s 42nd Session of the General Conference.

Referring to the UN body’s long attention to historical routes and traveling, Salehi said: “It has always been valuable for us in this Organization to study the history of the cultural and civil exchanges among nations in the form of such roads as the Silk Road, Spice Route, and Salt Road.”

He stated there has always been a road throughout the ages for exchanging knowledge and wisdom, besides having roads for exchanging commercial goods, which can be called the “Science Road”, consisting of a network of roads for scientists and scientific ideas.

“This is the road that has linked the East of the world to the West profoundly and has acted as a messenger of peace and progress linking scientific eminence with eminence in ethics.”

Salehi added the most important message of the history of science for the time being is that the accumulation of science in one civilization and its lack of expansion would reduce the opportunity for prosperity and would result in recession and even digression.

“This road, which is a complex and intertwined network of roads for exchanging science while observing ethical principles, can pave the way for the materialization of an objective which has been explicitly echoed in the preamble to the Constitution of UNESCO, wherein there is mention of free exchange of ideas and knowledge and adding exchange instruments among nations and using them for mutual understanding.”

This way, Iran suggests that a program entitled, “Science Road”, be defined and initiated by UNESCO to facilitate the free exchange of ideas and knowledge, the official said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the official reminded the attendees of Iran’s strategic location that has endowed the nation with a profound legacy of knowledge exchange.

“This historical backdrop has transformed Iran into a cultural bridge, fostering intellectual and cultural interactions that have transcended borders and civilizations. JundiShapur, the oldest university in the world in the southwest of Iran, can be mentioned here as an example, the 1750th anniversary of whose establishment was acknowledged by UNESCO in 2017.”

This rich heritage of knowledge exchange is not just a relic of the past but a living testament to Iran’s enduring commitment to promoting intellectual collaboration, he explained.

In this context, it is strongly suggested that the Tehran Cluster Office should be promoted to a multisectoral regional office and continue to embrace our unique position in facilitating cross-cultural interactions, the official noted.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – 1,600-year-old ‘salt sheep’ from Iran reveals same genetic traits as modern breeds. A team of geneticists and archaeologists from Iran, Ireland, France, Germany, and Austria has sequenced the DNA from a 1,600-year-old sheep mummy discovered earlier from an ancient salt mine in west-central Iran.

This remarkable specimen has revealed sheep husbandry practices of the ancient Near East and underlined how natural mummification can affect DNA degradation.

The salt-rich environment of Chehrabad, a salt mine where the animal remains had been discovered, preserved its skin and hair fibers, which were examined with scanning electron microscopy. The animal’s well-preserved DNA revealed that it was genetically similar to sheep breeds living in the region today, according to a statement released by Trinity College Dublin.

“The sheep likely had a hairy or mixed coat, rather than a woolly one, and a fat tail, which is sometimes associated with being good for food and well adapted to an arid climate.”

Dr. Kevin G. Daly, also from Trinity’s School of Genetics and Microbiology, supervised the study. He said: “Using a combination of genetic and microscopic approaches, our team managed to create a genetic picture of what sheep breeds in Iran 1,600 years ago may have looked like and how they may have been used.

The salt mine of Chehrabad is known to preserve biological material. Indeed, it is in this mine that human remains of the famed “Salt Men” were recovered, desiccated by the salt-rich environment.

The new research confirms that this natural mummification process – where water is removed from a corpse, preserving soft tissues that would otherwise be degraded – also conserved animal remains.

The research team, led by geneticists from Trinity, exploited this by extracting DNA from a small cutting of mummified skin from a leg recovered in the mine.

While ancient DNA is usually damaged and fragmented, the team found that the sheep mummy DNA was extremely well-preserved; with longer fragment lengths and less damage that would usually be associated with such an ancient age. The group attributes this to the mummification process, with the salt mine providing conditions ideal for the preservation of animal tissues and DNA.

The salt mine’s influence was also seen in the microorganisms present in the sheep leg skin. Salt-loving archaea and bacteria dominated the microbial profile – also known as the metagenome – and may have also contributed to the preservation of the tissue.

The mummified animal was genetically similar to modern sheep breeds from the region, which suggests that there has been a continuity of ancestry of sheep in Iran since at least 1,600 years ago.

The team also exploited the sheep’s DNA preservation to investigate genes associated with a woolly fleece and a fat-tail – two important economic traits in sheep. Some wild sheep – the Asiatic mouflon – are characterized by a “hairy” coat, much different from the woolly coats seen in many domestic sheep today. Fat-tailed sheep are also common in Asia and Africa, where they are valued in cooking, and where they may be well-adapted to arid climates.

The team built a genetic impression of the sheep and discovered that the mummy lacked the gene variant associated with a woolly coat, while fiber analysis using Scanning Electron Microscopy found the microscopic details of the hair fibers consistent with hairy or mixed coat breeds. Intriguingly, the mummy carried genetic variants associated with fat-tailed breeds, suggesting the sheep was similar to the hairy-coated, fat-tailed sheep seen in Iran today.

“Mummified remains are quite rare so little empirical evidence was known about the survival of ancient DNA in these tissues before this study,” says Conor Rossi, Ph.D. candidate in Trinity’s School of Genetics and Microbiology, and the lead author of the paper.

“The astounding integrity of the DNA was not like anything we had encountered from ancient bones and teeth before. This DNA preservation, coupled with the unique metagenomic profile, is an indication of how fundamental the environment is to tissue and DNA decay dynamics.

The study also probed how Sasanian-era (224-651 CE) herders likely raised sheep for meat consumption.

“Using cross-disciplinary approaches we can learn about what ancient cultures valued in animals, and this study shows us that the people of Sasanian-era Iran may have managed flocks of sheep specialized for meat consumption, suggesting well-developed husbandry practices,” Daly explained.

What was a catastrophe for the ancient miners has become a sensation for science; the first salt mummy, dated to 300 CE, was discovered in 1993, sporting a long white beard, iron knives, and a single gold earring. In 2004 another mummy was discovered only 50 feet away, followed by another in 2005 and a “teenage” boy mummy later that year.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iranian tourism minister Ali-Asghar Mounesan entered Moscow on Sunday to finalize work on a bilateral visa-free agreement for tourist groups with Russia, CHTN reported.

In 2017, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin inked a visa-free agreement for tourist groups.

A joint technical committee has been developing an action plan for the previously agreed visa-free travel arrangements since then, in order to put the agreement into effect.

However, the outbreak of the coronavirus has put a halt to the agreement.

Based on the 2017 agreement tour groups of 5 to 50 people heading to [easternmost parts of] Russia from Iran or vice versa are granted a visa-free stay of up to 15 days.

As part of the minister’s visit to Russia, Tehran’s Niavaran Museum and Moscow’s Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts plan to ink an MOU to intensify their cooperation, the report added.

Earlier this month, Mostafa Sarvari, who presides over the tourism marketing and advertising office of the Iranian Tour Operators Association, announced many Russian tourists are eager to travel to Iran, recounting his Russian counterparts. “Many [potential] Russian travelers are motivated to visit novel and lesser-known destinations such as Iran that could be a safe and attractive destination,” he said.

“According to Russian tourism experts, the feedback from Russian tourists who have traveled to Iran has been very positive, and its reflection, especially on social media, has caused a great deal of enthusiasm and interest.”

According to Ebrahim Pourfaraj, who heads the Iranian Tour Operators Association, rounds of negotiations have been held between Iranian tour operators, travel marketers, and their Russian counterparts. “We’ve been commenced talks with some Russian travel agents to put Iranian destinations on their itineraries…. And the Iranian Tour Operators Association has also entered negotiations with Russian unions for outbound tours to attract more travelers from Russia.”

Pourfaraj says the majority of potential Russian travelers are unaware of the vast tourist attractions that exist in every corner of Iran. “The fact is that Iran’s political and economic relations with Russia are considered as good, but this has nothing to do with attracting tourists because it is directly connected with the Russian people. It is the Russian people who must choose Iran as their destination.”

Maya Lomidze, executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, had told Sputnik that the visa agreement may significantly surge the tourist flows between the two countries, just like it happened when a similar deal was signed between Russia and China. The flow of Iranian tourists to Russia increased by 50-70 percent following the operation of direct flights that connect Iran to St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Sochi, she said.

Iran is taking proactive measures in line with the long-term goal of 20 million tourists by 2025.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – In the past, war tourism destinations were mainly the object of interest of photojournalists appearing solely on pages of crime, but now they can be traced in top travel books and websites. Whatever you call it, from war tourism, dark tourism, disaster tourism, or danger tourism, Iran has more to offer after being involved in the second-longest war of the 20th-century after the Vietnam War.

Amongst many border cities directly involved in the 1980–1988 war, Khorramshahr is highly honored as a symbol of resistance during the war against Iraqi invaders. Moreover, the port city is high on the ‘will go’ index of adventure travelers interested in such niche tourism.

At this time of the year, Iranians hold special ceremonies to honor the fallen soldiers and to cherish the strength and resistance of the people during “the Sacred Defense Week”, starting on Shahrivar 31 (September 21 this year) when Iraqi armed forces invaded western Iran.

The third of Khordad (May 24) marks the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr from Saddam Hussein’s invading army back in May 1982 when Iranians laid another foundation for sacrifice, resistance, and final victory with their blood. Iranian forces recaptured the southwestern strategic port city in a landmark operation code-named Beit ol-Moqaddas.

According to Sajad Goharpak, the tourism chief of Khorramshahr, 25 spots have so far been identified in the port city which makes it a noteworthy destination when it comes to war tourism. “Khorramshahr is so great that right now we are facing a museum city because countless incidents took place in every neighborhood of the city.”

For now, the country has largely been restored, and very few signs of the war, apart from street names and murals of the martyrs on some streets, can be found. These are the areas where domestic travelers usually go by tour packages are called “Rahiane Nour” (“The Path of Light”).

For those interested to visit an epitome of frontlines elsewhere from the former battlefields, Tehran embraces several destinations; the Sacred Defense Museum, Tehran Peace Museum, and Behesht-e Zahra—a graveyard where many of the martyrs are buried. The epic-scale Sacred Defense Museum does bargain something different in modern Iranian history where you can delve into wreckages of rockets, tanks, rifles, vessels, mortars, radars, air defense systems, grounded jets, military supplies, and artillery pieces amongst others. The museum is equipped with a state-of-the-art visual system including projections and video walls, while audio recordings relevant to each period contribute to its charm. The recreation of the liberation of the city of Khorramshahr by the means of virtual exhibits and video projections is amongst the main features of the museum where stands a replica of the Khorramshahr mosque adorned with creamy and turquoise patterned tiles.

Some tourists say they are not just interested in visiting live or former warzones out of curiosity. What motivates them is guessing the stories of people who lost their lives, being displaced, wounded, captured, or lost their loved ones in those bitter moments of the history of mankind.

Ten tourism projects, which are composed of hotels and other lodging centers, are under construction across Yazd province, the official said.

“Construction work has been finished on two of the projects, and the rest are complete by 70 to 90 percent.”

“200 [hotel] rooms and 400 beds will be added to the accommodation capacity of Yazd when the projects come on stream,” the official said.

The central province is usually referred to as a delightful place to stay, or a “don’t miss” destination by almost all of its visitors. The city is home to thousands of mudbrick houses that are equipped with innovative badgirs (wind catchers), atmospheric alleyways, and many Islamic and Iranian monuments that shape its eye-catching city landscape.

In July 2017, the historical structure of the capital city of Yazd was named a UNESCO World Heritage. Wedged between the northern Dasht-e Kavir and the southern Dasht-e Lut on a flat plain, the oasis city enjoys a very harmonious public-religious architecture that dates from different eras.

Yazd is known today for its traditional districts, the qanat system, traditional houses, bazaars, hammams, water cisterns, mosques, synagogues, Zoroastrian temples, and the historic garden of Dolat-Abad. The city enjoys the peaceful coexistence of three religions: Islam, Judaism, and Zoroastrianism. Yazd Jameh Mosque, Dowlatabad Garden, the Yazd Atash Behram, also known as Atashkadeh-e Yazd, Towers of Silence, and adjacent desert landscape are among its tourist sites.

TEHRAN (Iran News) –The three historical palace complexes of Sa’dabad, Golestan, and Niavaran were named the most-visited “cultural heritage museums and sites” in Iran during the two-week New Year (Noruz) holidays, which ended on April 2, the museum director has said.

“Some 1,245,000 people visited cultural heritage museums and sites during this Noruz as the Sadabad Cultural-Historical Complex received the topmost number of visitors during Noruz,” Mohammadreza Kargar, the director of museums and historical properties at the tourism ministry, announced on Saturday.

The UNESCO-registered Golestan Palace and Niavaran Cultural-Historical Complex were named the second and the third respectively, the official noted, adding that Hafezieh, where illustrious Persian poet Hafez is laid to rest in Shiraz, was the fourth most-visited cultural site during the holiday.

Visits to Iranian museums fell by one-fifth during Noruz holidays in comparison to the same period two years ago, when the new coronavirus was not yet an issue, according to the official. “Visits to cultural heritage museums fell by one-fifth during the Noruz holidays of the current year (1400) in comparison to the same period in the year 1398.”

Cultural heritage museums were closed during the Noruz holiday last year (1399) due to strict social distancing measures, the official said.

Currently, 740 museums are active across Iran, of which 285 have been established since August 2013, when President Hassan Rouhani began his first administration, Kargar said in March. Back in 2018, he publicized that some three million historical objects were being kept at museums affiliated with the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Ministry.

Iran is home to one of the world’s oldest continuous major civilizations, embracing settlements dating back to 4000 BC. It also hosts some of the world’s oldest cultural monuments including bazaars, museums, mosques, bridges, bathhouses, madrasas, gardens, rich natural, rural landscapes as well as 24 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The name of Iran, formerly known as Persia, mostly conjures up the first Persian Empire, ruled by the Achaemenids (ca. 550 – 330 BC) and sites such as Pasargadae and Persepolis. However, there are tens of prehistorical sites as the Burnt City in Sistan-Baluchestan, Tepe Sialk in Kashan, Susa, and Chogha Zanbil in the Khuzestan province, and Ecbatana in Hamedan which predate the Achaemenid period.

From a wider point of view, Iranian history can be divided into Pre-Islamic and Islamic eras. The Medes unified Iran as a nation and empire in 625 BC. The Islamic conquest of Persia (633–656) that put an end to the mighty Sassanid Empire (224–651) was a turning point in the history of the nation.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – A museum dedicated to confectionery and traditional sweets is set to be launched in the UNESCO-registered city of Yazd, which is famed for its local foods and edible souvenirs.

The establishment of a confectionery museum in the city of Yazd, which offers wide-ranging traditional sweets under one roof, is on agenda, ISNA quoted Seyyed Alireza Asayesh, who presides over Yazd Confectioners Union, as saying on Sunday.

The museum is expected to directly supply Yazdi sweets to the visitors, provide tens of job opportunities, and add furthert charm to the culinary tourism of the historical city, he noted.

For many tourists, one of the most exciting experiences of visiting a new place is to try its local food and sweets. This trend is especially true for Iran, where almost every city has its own signature food and sweets. Here are the most famed sweets one can find in Yazd:

Qottab

Perhaps the most famous of Yazd sweets throughout Iran is Qottab. This bite-size pastry is made of a thick crispy shell filled with two main variants. The first and the most famous variant is filled with crushed almonds, cardamom, and sugar, while the second is filled with honey.

Due to its exquisite taste and small size, Qottab has a reputation of being so irresistible that people can finish a pack only in one setting.

Cake Yazdi

A national favorite of the Iranians, Yazdi Cake (called Cake Yazdi in Persian) is one of the pastries that almost all Iranians enjoy having with a hot cup of tea. The combination of cardamom and rose water is repeatedly used in Iranian recipes for pastries and it’s also very noticeable in Yazdi sweets.

One can purchase Yazdi Cake in any pastry shop in any city in Iran, but the ones purchased in Yazd are distinct for the flavor that the spices give to them. Ground pistachio is poured over the cakes to give them a beautiful vibrant look with a slightly nutty taste.

Baklava

The worldwide name of Baklava is an umbrella term for dessert pastries using phyllo dough, chopped, or ground nuts, and syrup or honey. Many countries have their unique kind of Baklava. Even in Iran, there are different types of Baklava in different regions such as Qazvin, Tabriz, etc.

Yazdi Baklava is generally dry and is presented in diamond-shaped cuts. The pastry is filled with almonds and pistachios. Instead of honey, it is made with rose water syrup. In comparison to other types of Baklava, the Iranian Baklava is much lighter and the use of cardamom gives it a traditional Iranian taste.

Loz

Another famous sweet made in Yazd, which looks similar to Baqlava but lacks any dough, is called Loz. There are different varieties of Loz depending on the filling. The most famous ones are filled with coconut (Loz-e-nargil), pistachio (Loz-e-peste), almond (Loz-e-badam), or saffron (Loz-e-zaferan).

The variety of Yazd sweets is awe-inspiring. Besides the major ones mentioned above, Yazd sports quite a few other sweets that are worth mentioning. Haji Badam, literally meaning almond haji, are tiny balls made of almonds (badam), sugar, butter, flour, pistachio, and cardamom. Sohan Ardi is Yazd’s special type of Sohan which is less solid to bite and more powdery. Naan-e-Panjereii (literally meaning window-like bread) is the traditional Iranian rosette. Naan-e-Berenji are cookies made of rice flour and garnished with poppy seeds. Pashmak which is Iranian traditional cotton candy. If one is unsure what to choose among the vast variety of options, they can always choose a “mixed” box (makhloot), in which you can find a collection of tasty Yazdi Sweet.

In July 2017, the historical structure of the city of Yazd was named a UNESCO World Heritage. Wedged between the northern Dasht-e Kavir and the southern Dasht-e Lut on a flat plain, the oasis city enjoys a very harmonious public-religious architecture that dates from different eras. Yazd is usually referred to as a delightful place to stay, or a “don’t miss” destination by almost all of its visitors. The city is full of mudbrick houses that are equipped with innovative badgirs (wind catchers), atmospheric alleyways, and many Islamic and Iranian monuments that shape its eye-catching city landscape.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Iran’s Post Company plans to unveil a commemorative postal stamp to pay tribute to the Monastery of Saint Thaddeus, a historical monument in West Azarbaijan province.

The unveiling ceremony is scheduled to be held during the joint exhibition of Iran and Armenia postal stamps in Arch Bishop Ardak Manoukian Museum in Tehran on April 11, Iran’s Post Company announced on Tuesday.

The exhibit, which is set to be held online due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, will showcase a selection of historical Armenian stamps as well as Iranian stamps issued on Persian New Year (Noruz). It is being co-organized by the Post and Communications Museum and Arch Bishop Ardak Manoukian Museum.

Also known as the Qareh Klise (“the Black Church”), the monastery is one of the oldest surviving Christian monuments in the country. It is situated in Chaldoran county some 20 kilometers from Maku, adjacent to the borders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey.

The ancient Church shows off elaborate bas-reliefs of flowers, animals, and human figures on its façade and exterior walls. It bears verses of Old and New Testament in Armenian calligraphy as well.

Together with St. Stepanos Monastery and the Chapel of Dzordzor, Qareh Klise was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2008 under the name “Armenian Monastic Ensembles of Iran”. All three sites are located in West Azarbaijan and are of high significance from historical and cultural perspectives. They bear credible testimony to interchanges with the ancient regional societies in particular the Byzantine, Orthodox, and Persian.

UNESCO has it that the churches bear examples of outstanding universal values of the Armenian architectural and decorative traditions.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – The middle of the day is the time that we are going to have our magnificent lunch. We leave the place that we are working, studying, or living to have lunch and get our minds a little bit off the day’s business. We count on lunch to bring the necessary ingredients to our minds so we can have a productive day. That is why lunch is so important. It is a break in the middle of what we are doing and can help us to have a little time with ourselves. However, it is important to find a perfect lunch place that can satisfy both our stomach and mind! That can be a little difficult. That is the main purpose of this very article. In this article, you will get to know more about the important factors that can help you out in the process of finding a place to eat your magnificent lunch.

If you are reading this in the article, it is not wrong to guess that you probably are living in the beautiful city of Richmond Hill as one of the most cosmopolitan and wonderful cities in Canada. The city of Richmond Hill has lots of places to have your lunch in. That can be a bit confusing, isn’t it? In fact, from many aspects, having lots of options is not so different from having no option at all! That is because it is hard to choose the perfect place from a lot of places. However, you don’t need to worry at all! In this article, you can find out more about the factors that can help you out in the process of choosing a place to eat your lunch.

The atmosphere and decoration is an important factor.

Yup. That is totally right. Nevertheless, many people do underestimate the significance of this factor. They think that the food is all that matters. But that is not simply true. Because the atmosphere and the decoration of the place we are going to have our lunch in are important in having a marvelous experience as much as the quality of the food. In fact, to have a magnificent experience, the decoration of the place we are going to have our lunch in must transmit to us the feeling of peacefulness. However, a peaceful atmosphere does not mean a dead atmosphere. The atmosphere of a perfect lunch place must be peaceful and simultaneously vibrant.

Tell me about the food!

Nothing is more important than food. The primary reason that we are visiting a place is the quality of its food. In fact, the place that we are going to visit to have lunch must offer perfect food. It seems that we need to be a bit clearer on this. What do we mean when we are talking about perfect food? First of all, it could be said that perfect food has all the ingredients that your body needs. You can find out about the ingredients that your body needs by visiting your doctor. In addition to that, perfect food must be tasty. The good taste of food is the most important factor that makes us willing and eager to have food. However, we need to keep in mind that deliciousness is not enough.

We should care about hygiene.

The cleanliness of the place we are going to visit to have lunch is another important factor. We almost all have unpleasant experiences of eating in a place that its floor is dirty, the dishes that have been brought to us haven’t been washed most perfectly, and the clothes that the waiters or waitresses wear are not clean. We don’t want that experience to happen once more! That is why we should care about the hygiene of the place we are going to visit. In fact, the owners of a perfect lunch place do know about the significance of this very factor. That is why they try to clean the floor of the place regularly. hygiene even more.

Okay, give me an example!

The branches of Haida Sandwich and Haida Catering in the wonderful city of Richmond Hill are two magnificent places that you can always count on. In fact, the owners of these two marvelous places do care about the hygiene and cleanliness of the place, they will not lie to you in any way, and they have designed the place in a way that is all about comfortableness.

TEHRAN (Iran News) – Most of the time, when we start our day, we are in no mood to begin our work. In fact, our brain has not got enough energy to have the proper functionality. At these times, we try to have a breakfast that can make our minds alive. Some people do that task by merely drinking a cup of tea, and many others need more ingredients to do so. In both cases, it is obvious that eating breakfast matters if we want to have a productive day. That is why breakfast meal matters. If you ignore this important meal, you will not have the required energy to begin your day with. Because of the significance of a breakfast meal, in this very article, you will get to know more about the factors that can help you find the perfect breakfast place.

However, you are reading the right article.

First things first, what about the food?

Yup. When we are visiting a restaurant, first and foremost, the most important thing that we are looking for is the perfect food. However, we need to be a little clearer on this. What do we mean when we are talking about the perfect food? First of all, we need to pay attention to the fact that we are talking about breakfast. Because of that, the food we are going to eat as our breakfast must have enough ingredients to help us begin our day with. In addition to that, the breakfast we are going to eat must be delicious. Being tasty is one of the most important factors that we care about when we are talking about the perfect food. However, we need to keep in mind that taste is not the only thing that matters. Delicious food must be healthy.

Hygiene matters. A good breakfast place is clean!

Almost everyone has the experience of eating in a place that its floor is dirty, waiters or waitresses haven’t worn proper clothes, and the dishes that have been brought to us are not in the best shape possible. Such experiences are horrible experiences, and we don’t want them to happen again. That is why we should care about the hygiene of the place we are planning to visit. The owners of a successful breakfast place do know about this important factor. That is why they try to clean the floor of the place regularly, do care about the clothes that the waiters or waitresses wear, and try to wash the dishes most perfectly. By doing so, they make sure that the customers will have the most enjoyable experience.

The behavior of waiters/ waitresses does matter!

The waiters of the place we are going to have our breakfast in must be polite, patient, and willing to help. In fact, as soon as you have sat on your chairs, the menu must be brought to you. You don’t want to be late. That is your obvious right! In addition to that, the waiters and waitresses must listen carefully to the questions that you have about the menu and answer them. Sometimes we have questions like what this food is made with. In these cases, we expect the waiters or waitresses to listen carefully to our questions and help us out. Besides that, the waiters or waitresses must bring you the food in the most proper way.

I heard all that, give me an example, please!

The branches of Haida Sandwich and Haida Catering in the wonderful city of Richmond Hill are two magnificent places that you can always count on for breakfast. In fact, the owners of these two marvelous places do care about the hygiene and cleanliness of the place, they will not lie to you in any way, and they have designed the place in a way that is all about comfortableness.
