    Iran, China Urged to Strengthen Private Sector Economic Relations

    TEHRAN - The Iran Trade Development Center in Shanghai officially opened its doors this week, marking a new chapter in Iran-China economic cooperation. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mahmoud Najafi Arab, President of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, and Fereydoun Verdi-Nejad, the Chamber’s Secretary-General. Also present were Alaeddin Boroujerdi, former Iranian ambassador to China and head of the Iran-China Friendship Group, Ali Mohammadi, Iran’s Consul General in Shanghai, along with a group of Iranian and Chinese business leaders.
