Speaking at a press conference in Tehran yesterday, Amirkhosro Fakhrian said that the number of chain stores of Ofogh Kourosh will get close to 1600 nationwide in the near future, adding that since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year, Ofogh Kourosh has opened 200 stores in the country and the number of its stores is currently 1555.

He noted that OKCS was named as one of the top 40 companies of the country in 2017, adding that the company has accelerated its expansion in the country as it has invested on the IT and it tries to act strongly in franchising.
He added that one of the goals of OKCS is to support those who have no major experience in investment, adding that the company currently has 500 franchising stores in the country, reiterating that it is the most number of franchising stores in the country. He reiterated that OKCS is trying to boost the culture of franchising nationwide because its need is badly felt.
Fakhrian added that fortunately Majlis lawmakers are working to approve laws for expanding franchising.
On the shortage of goods in the chain stores, he said there is no need to panic because there is no shortage of goods in the stores, and peace and stability has turned back to the market and the prices are getting lower.
He reiterated that the OKCS underlies good quality of goods and the quality of goods are checked before entering the stores.
Fakhrian added that the success of the chain stores has boosted the value of its shares as the price of each share of the chain stores has jumped from 1695 tomans to 5780 tomans.
He then highlighted some major programs of the chain stores like online sale and speed in delivery of goods to the customers.
