Manama Meeting, an End for a Beginning
Manama Meeting, an End for a Beginning
On June 15 and 26, Manama, the capital city of Bahrain hosted a meeting on the Palestine’s future which is called by Arab states and Zionist regime “Deal of the Century”.

Concurrent with this big sedition and complicated plot against Palestine and Palestinians, cries of people’s protests and outrage were heard in any part of the world where they were reiterating Palestine is non-negotiable.

Reporter of Israeli newspaper Haaretz in his report from Manama underlined the meeting was the biggest ever event for normalization of ties between Arabs and Zionists which had been seen in recent years.

Noa Landau in his report from Manama claimed that Manama meeting was the biggest one for normalizing the relations between Arab states and Zionists, adding that the meeting was focused on economy to restore peace under the banner of the Deal of the Century and Donald Trump’s Administration has held the meeting to collect money around $50b for the deal as a hush money to the Palestinians. The U.S. is to unveil a peace talk plan soon after the upcoming Israel election and the plan is aimed at silencing Palestinians and choking their voices.

On Wednesday and in the second day of the meeting which convened to study economic aspects of the Deal of the Century which had been raised by the U.S.,  a Saudi minister expressed his optimism over the future of the U.S. plan of the Deal of the Century which is aimed at eliminating the Palestine issue.

Wednesday session of the conference kicked off with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment, Keith Krach, speech where he pointed to the positive impacts of the economic plan which had been presented by Donald Trump’s Senior Advisor and Son-in-Law Jared Kushner and pointed to the increase in the revenues of Palestinians and decrease in the poverty.

His remarks were supported by the IMF Chief Christine Lagarde, Saudi Arabia’s minister of state Mohammed al-Sheikh, Tony Elumelu Nigerian businessman and chairman of Heirs Holdings, and Willem Buiter advisor to the Citigroup Inc. which is one of the biggest American international investment bank and financial services corporations. But the result of the meeting was not revealed and it seems it was not in positive direction.

Mohammad al-Sheikh for his part said, “I truly believe that the economic plan presented by Kushner  can succeed if there is hope of peace.” Addressing the conference in Bahrain, he claimed there is still a chance for implementing the Deal of Century. But reports from the meeting showed that the way he talked was just a pretention to male Saudi officials please and they looked at  the sheikh’s remarkes with suspicion.

The conference was held in a condition where most Palestinians had boycotted it except some Arab states, led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE and other Arab states had boycotted the conference.

Doubts in speeches of those participants in the meeting indicate that even they themselves  do not believe that the goals in the plan could be materialized and it shows that the Manama meeting from the  beginning has failed and it blazoned disappointment and hopelessness.

This issue that the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution has predicted that Zionist regime will not last too long has been even believed by Zionist leaders and they constantly try to find ways to secure the existence of racist Zionist regime, and the Deal of Century has been raised to save Israel but undoubtedly, planners of the Deal of Century are milking the ram as God’s promise to His good servants will be fulfilled.
