He went on to say that during this hard time, Iran has achieved major successes in different sectors and gas turbine is a good sample which has been produced due to joint cooperation between industry and universities and it has caused Iran to become self-sufficient in this field.

He noted that about 40m euros have been invested on creating its infrastructures, designing and installation.

Aliabadi reiterated that some countries only manufacture some power station equipment but MAPNA Group can claim now that it has reached full self-sufficiency in constructing power plant.

He added that this achievement has been the result of sanctions and all process for designing and manufacturing of gas turbine are carried out by Iranians.

He noted that gas turbine and rotating machines are used in all heavy transportations like rail, marine  and even planes.

MAPNA Group synchronized its first 42-megawatt gas turbine on April 1 in Zahedan and it is a golden leaf in the history of the group.

Aliabadi then highlighted the process for manufacturing the new product of the group, saying that the process for manufacturing MGT40 gas turbine has begun since 2012 and it finished in 6 years. He added that the group will have no mass production of its new product and it only manufactures when it gets order. He reiterated that this product can compete with its international rivals as its safety is high.

On cooperation with Germany and Syria, he said that MAPNA Group had continued its old cooperation with Siemens of Germany , adding that the group has started cooperation in Syria since a couple of years ago and the group has so far built 2 500-megawatt power plants in Syria.
