Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that Iran and India are serious about advancing bilateral cooperation.
In a message posted on his Instagram account on Tuesday, Araghchi touched upon the positive developments of Iran-India relations after President Rouhani’s visit to India in February.
“Following President Rouhani’s visit to India in February, positive developments in bilateral ties have occurred, especially in fields of energy, trade and transit. Iran and India are determined to boost multilateral aspects of their cooperation in different domains, based on mutual interest and respect.”
Describing the photo posted on his Instagram profile, Araghchi said that this is the 15th round of Iran-India political talks that was held with Indian Deputy Foreign Minister Vijay Gokhale.
“The latest developments regarding the JCPOA and discussing ways for continuing bilateral ties after US withdrawal from the pact were among the main topics of discussion at this meeting,” he added.
