Ebtekar, the Special Envoy of Iranian president, met with Indonesian Vice-President Jusuf Kalla and handed President Rouhani’s written message to President Joko Widodo to him.
The Special Envoy of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Masoumeh Ebtekar, who was tasked to deliver President Rouhani’s message to Indonesian President Joko Widodo, to Indonesian Vice-President Jusuf Kalla.
Also Ms. Ebtekar, handed the formal invitation extended by President Rouhani to Indonesian President Joko Widodo to attend the Dialogue Assembly of Asian Cooperation whose summit and ministerial meeting will be held in the future in Tehran.
The two sides, in this meeting, discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations in areas of economy, trade, and banking.
Ebtekar underlined the friendly ties between Tehran and Jakarta and said that holding of a joint economic commission and easing banking relations are necessary for broadening bilateral ties between Tehran and Jakarta.
The Indonesian official for his part re-voiced his country’s support for Iran in the nuclear dispute with US.
