Iran’s Customs Administration (IRICA) announced Wed. that during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21-May 21), more than $ 7.738 worth of Iranian goods were exported to the world.
According to statistics released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran exported 19% more during the first two months of the current Iranian fiscal year (March 21-May 21) than during the same period last year.
About 100 countries accounted for 97.62 of the total value of Iran’s exported goods.
Meanwhile, the total volume of the exports was 18,676,165 tons worth $7.738 billion, indicating 4.79% and 21.93% higher than last year in terms of volume and value, respectively.
According to the IRICA figures, exports to Madagascar, Mozambique, Benin, Brazil, Uganda, Mexico, Malta, Serbia, Portugal, Albania, Tunisia, Qatar, Ghana and Belarus have grown significantly compared to last year.
The statistics also show that exports of goods to Belarus has increased by 363.57% and the east European country now ranks 84th on the list of Iran’s export destinations.
However, the value and volume of exports to Switzerland, the Philippines, Libya, Singapore, Algeria, Tajikistan, Slovakia and Japan have dropped.
