Iran’s security chief Ali Shamkhani will take part and address the 9th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues hosted by Russia in Sochi, the head of Security Council’s PR office said Sunday.
Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani will make a visit to Russia’s Sochi to participate and deliver a speech at the 9th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues scheduled for 25-26 April, 2018.
According to Alireza Zarifian, Shamkhani will address the meeting on the first day of the event by outlining the security situation and the trend of politico-economic developments in the region, and by presenting the participating security officials with Iran’s experiences and strategies in countering security and terrorist threats.
On the first day, the meeting will discuss “international crises from confrontation to dialogue” and “evolution of tactics and strategies of international terrorist organizations”. The second day will focus on “international information security, global responses to global challenges” and “production and spread of narcotics, threats to international peace and stability”.
Zarifian went on add that Shamkhani will also hold bilateral and multilateral talks with security officials present at the meeting, especially the allies to the Islamic Republic, in a bid to advance joint political, military and security initiatives in countering and controlling security threats.
