TEHRAN – The German documentarian and journalist Andreas Ewels has been invited to attend the 11th edition of Cinema Verite, the Iranian international festival for documentary films, the organizers announced on Saturday.
Ewels is mostly known for his documentaries on nature, wildlife and environmental issues. He has made over 200 documentaries in about 100 countries.
Since 2001, he works for the ZDF, a German public-service television broadcaster based in the German city of Mainz.
His credits include “Saffron-The Search for the Red Gold”, “Adventure Ocean – Among White Sharks”, “Eagle Whisperer” and “The Lerchenberg Adventure”.
The Documentary and Experimental Film Center is the organizer of the Cinema Verite festival, whose 11th edition will be held in Tehran from December 10 to 17.
