Eight more Arab and Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia and Turkey, have condemned Israel’s repeated ceasefire violations in Gaza that have killed and injured over a thousand Palestinians in nearly four months.

TEHRAN (Iran News) In a joint statement issued late on Sunday, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar and Egypt said they consider Israeli violations as dangerous and a direct threat to the political process, hindering efforts in both security and humanitarian aspects in Gaza.

“These actions risk escalating tensions and undermining efforts aimed at consolidating calm and restoring stability, at a time when regional and international parties are working collectively to advance the second phase of the [US] President Donald Trump’s plan and to implement UN Security Council Resolution 2803,” read the statement, which was also posted on the Saudi Foreign Ministry website.

The ministers urged all parties to fulfill their responsibilities at this critical stage and exercise maximum restraint in order to preserve the ceasefire and ensure its sustainability, stressing the need to avoid any action that undermines current process in Gaza.

They also called for creating create conditions conducive to early recovery and reconstruction, while advancing a just and permanent peace rooted in the Palestinian right to self-determination and statehood, in line with international law, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

The statement was issued after the Israeli regime once again targeted several areas of Gaza, killing at least 32 people, including women and children on Sunday. Nearly 550 Palestinians have been killed and some 1,400 others injured since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025.
