Hundreds more Gazans killed since ceasefire announced: MSF
TEHRAN (Iran News) The ceasefire, announced between Israel and Hamas on October 10, was intended to halt nearly two years of bloodshed and attacks against Gaza’s residents and to pave the way for peace in the territory. However, the Israeli regime has continued its attacks under the pretext of alleged truce violations by Hamas—an accusation the Palestinian resistance movement has rejected.
According to MSF’s latest report on Friday, citing Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the most recent wave of Israeli violence has killed more than 300 Palestinians and injured over 760 since October 11.
The group said that survivors face dire conditions and renewed its call for their protection.
“After two years of relentless war and horror, Palestinians remain displaced and exhausted, facing a cold winter without basic necessities amidst intermittent Israeli attacks across the Strip. We continue to call for the protection of all civilians and of health care staff and facilities.”
MSF also criticized Israel for maintaining strict restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, including medical supplies and life-saving equipment.
“The Israeli authorities continue to impose significant restrictions on the entry of aid into Gaza. MSF and other organizations are struggling to get vital supplies into the territory, especially medical equipment, shelters, hygiene items, and spare parts for essential infrastructure. Access to these items is critical for people’s health,” the charity group said.
