Pezeshkian honors healthcare staff’s sacrifices during 12-day war
TEHRAN (Iran News) During a ceremony commemorating National Day of Nurses in Iran on Wednesday, the president highlighted the vigilance of the Iranian people, especially the healthcare staff, during the war imposed by the Israeli regime.
He pointed out that despite having their grievances, the Iranian healthcare staff stepped up, endured hardships, and even made sacrifices.
Pezeshkian noted that the enemy believed that an attack on Iran with bombs and missiles would lead to public unrest and the disintegration of the nation; however, the response from the people was beyond their expectations.
The president warned that the enemy aims to disrupt unity and cohesion in Iran.
Before his remarks, several veteran nurses and exemplary healthcare professionals were honored with certificates of appreciation at the event.
